Surrounded By Main Characters, I Was the Real Main Character All Along

When we heard the qilin say this, both of us looked at the qilin with confused looks.

But the qilin didn't care about the way that we were looking at him as he came over to us.

He flew right over to my shoulder, to where Yan Ling was still holding me.

As he floated there, he was looking at Yan Ling's hand on my shoulder with an inquisitive look. It was as if he was trying to figure out something while observing us like this.

Neither of us said a thing as we waited to see what the qilin would say.

After a long silence, he finally said, "Interesting, very interesting. I never thought that it would be like this."

Both of us once again revealed confused looks when we heard this.

I finally couldn't take my curiosity anymore and asked, "What's so interesting?"

The qilin ignored me at first, but he couldn't ignore me anymore when I pulled away from Yan Ling, pulling my shoulder away from her hand.
