Seeing that Veronica was in a fierce battle, I turned to Yasmin and asked, "What do we do now?"

Yasmin had been watching the fight between Veronica and her assailants while biting her lip.

It was as if she could see something that I couldn't see when she looked at this tornado of blood.

After a moment of silence, Yasmin turned to me to say, "How does your power work? Do you have to make physical contact or can you help her from here?"

I was caught off guard by this sudden question from Yasmin, but seeing the look on her face, I just shook my head and said, "I don't actually know. All that I've experimented with so far is that I should increase the power of the person that I'm touching."

Yasmin bit her lip again after hearing this before saying, "Are you sure that you can't do anything from here?"

I shook my head and said, "I have no idea, but it doesn't seem like we have time."
