Not to mention, my grandparents had been waiting here the whole time for me to arrive.

If they didn't know when and where I was coming from, they never would have been able to do something like this.

My grandfather didn't look back, but what he said next was as if he could read my mind.

"We've been keeping our eye on you the entire time since we knew that you would try something like this. The moment that you used the transport array, we were alerted that you were here." He said in a slightly teasing voice.

I was shocked when I heard this since I never thought that it would be this that would give me away.

But when I thought about it, I realized that I had completely taken the transport array in my attic for granted. I thought that since it was something that my parents left me, it shouldn't have alerted anyone.
