No Fighting in the House

Gloom's POV.

I wake up in a familiar place, recognizing the design on the ceiling, "The House of Hearts, that takes me back." I comment to no one, getting up from the bed I'm laying in, letting me see that this is one of the shared rooms.

"Father should really invest in some guest rooms." I say outloud, going to see who I'm roomed with at the moment, only to see white hair, "Oh you got to be fucking with me..." I mutter, realizing that it's Shimmer.

Unfortunately, I must have said it too loud since Shimmer woke up and looked me straight in the eyes, "...This is awkward." She commented, getting up too.

To avoid any possible surprise attacks, I take out my wand except it's not there, reaching my ear to check my Vision, it's not there either, "Where did yo put it!?" I question Shimmer, seeing as she's the most probable culprit.

"Hey! Hey! My stuff is missing too!" She pointed out, making me notice that her Vision is missing from the collar of her top.

As I was about to ask more questions, the door open, making Shimmer and I turn to look and see Father, "I apologize for surprising you two, but I can't have you fighting in here." She said, which, fair enough.

"Where's our stuff?" Shimmer questioned, "You know, Visions and wands?" She clarified, clearly not happy about having the gift from Focalors away from her person.

Arlecchino's POV.

"At the moment they're in my room." I inform them, "It's to avoid you two from trying to kill eachother, or fight at all for that matter, at least until you can manage to get along." I explain, causing them to get justifiably confused.

When I was about to explain, I heard Asmodeus and a voice in Shimmer's head explain it to them, "So it can be tamed?" Gloom questioned, "Why haven't I heard of this before?" She asked.

"Have you ever dealt with Clashing Mantras?" I asked back, Gloom getting my point immediately, "So anyways, me, Lyney, Lynette and Freminet will stay here in the house to keep an eye on your progess... and to stop any issue." I explain, quickly adding that last part at the end.

Having said what I needed to say, I get out ofthe room to leave them to their own devices.

Shimmer's POV.

"Wow... I can see how she runs this place." I comment, noting how parental that was, "Although don't see why she was doing that with us." I say, voicing my confusion.

As I said that, Glooom turned to me confused, "I thought you knew stuff from at least some worlds?" She pointed out, "Arlecchino is my adoptive parent." She explained.

Hearing that just sort of made me freeze in shock for a bit, until I managed to grabe Gloom by the shoulders and shake her, "ARLECCHINO IS YOUR PARENT!?!?" I yelled out in complete shock.

"Stop shaking me!" Gloom exclaimed, prompting me to do as such, "Fifteen years ago I died and got reincarnated in this body, which I called Gloom, I appeared in the Tsaritsa's lap without any explanation and she didn't know how to parent so she decided to give me to Father." She explained.

I nodded as I followed the story, but I remembered something Sibley told me, "Sibley said you arrived here in Remnant only two months ago though?" I point out.

Gloom's POV.

I groan at the confirmation that Sibley left out more important details, "Time goes differently, it was two months in the other world, it's fifteen years here in Teyvat." I explain, "Don't ask how that is I have no idea." I quickly say.

Shimmer nodded at that, but I noticed that her expression seemed pretty angered, towhich I realize I'm feeling angry myself, "Mantra..." I mutter, trying to control my aggression.

"Where can I get somethng to drink? I haven't drunk anything for two days." Shimmer requested, clearly wanting to get away from me to have our mantras settle.

I quickly give her directions to where she could drink something, wanting in equal amount for her to go away, so when she did go away, I felt a whole lot of relief.

"It's already better than what I could have imagined." I heard Lyney say as he entered the room, "Especially considering yesterday you were trying to kill eachother." He clarified.

In response I just give him an upset look, "I hate you so fucking much right now." I state with as much seriousness as I could muster.

Lyney's POV.

I laughed at Gloom's statement, "Love you too sis." I jokingly respond, "But seriously, compared to yesterday you're doing much better." I repeat.

That made Gloom huff in annoyance, "...Say you wouldn't have happened to send someone to check on my meadery right?" She asked, looking calmer than before.

"Don't worry, Father sent some Mirror Maidens to guard it." I reassure with a smile, but Gloom's expression didn't really show gratitude, not that it ever really showed any positive emotion if she's not laughing.

"...If you don't mind I'll..." She started, thinking of the right wording, "...Try to get along with Shimmer, I mean I'm forced to either way." She pointed out.
