Gloom's POV.
"Where do we find this girl exactly?" I asked Shimmer, wondering how we'd even start looking, "How does someone even learn of a 'secret society' in the first place?" I ask further.
Shimmer pondered this for a moment, "Everything considered, she probably would start with some place easy to conquer..." She rationalized, "So stupid government with weak links and incompetent law enforcement?" I list some options, "Yep, meaning the only place it could be is..." Shimmer dragged out to let me figure it out.
With what I listed there was one option really, "Remnant?" I suggest, "Obviously!" Shimmer confirmed, pointing in the direction of the world, "So you must figured out how to get there already." I say with a small smirk, "Of course!" Shimmer said proudly throwing me off, "You did?" I ask in disbelief.
A Few Minutes Later.
"So the God of Gods wants you to find her daughter and look over her... I couldn't make that up if I tried!" Venti exclaimed as he directed Dvalin to Remnant.
"I can't make that up either! And I'm a lawyer mind you!" Shimmer exclaimed back, "And you still can't read somehow." I bring up with a disappointed look, "Shut the fuck up." Shimmer retorted with a hand up.
I giggle as I look down to the city Asmodeus called Vale, "So what are we supposed to expect here?" I ask the two, "From what I now? A bunch of idiots, there are good apples, but you'll find the rotten ones." Shimmer explained, "I've been in Beacon once, get ready for a headache if you go in there." Venti warned as Dvalin landed.
"We'll be waiting for you here, come back when you're done." Dvalin instructed, "We'll do..." Shimmer replied as she followed me, "...I'm starting to speak dragon..." She said with a slightly amused face.
That made me hold back a chuckle, "Okay, what's up with you? You're not usually this chipper." Shimmer brought up, "I've... been told I try to emulate father a little too much, so I'm trying to unwind a bit." I explain with a small shrug, "Where are we going anyway?" I ask a little confused.
Shimmer stopped walking to point at a huge building, "If we want any information, it would be here at Beacon, there's a lot of people who would want this government to be overthrown." She explained.
Shimmer's POV.
"Honestly, Remnant is one of the worlds that doesn't have any leaks into Teyvat, so I really don't know anything about it." Gloom explained, "To be fair there isn't much to know, jsut remember that the jerk to good guy ratio is 9/10." I summarized, "9 being the good guy?" Gloom questioned, "The jerk." I corrected, much to Gloom's clear dismay.
I opened the door to the academy and motioned for Gloom to enter, "What a gentlewoman~" She commented sarcastically, "You know what? Nevermind?" I kick Gloom's leg making her stumble to the ground, at which point I drag her out and enter first, where I burst laughing at having done that, "You suck!" Gloom stated in complete unamusement.
With a hand motion I brushed that off, "To Ozpin! Or Ozma! Or Oscar! Or whatever it is at this point!" I exclaimed, grabbing Gloom's hand and pulling her along.
A few mintues of walking later we found Ozpin's office and entered, "Hello there wizard!" I greet with my eyes closed only to see there's no one there, "Must be out." I tell Shimmer who's clearly disappointed at not being able to surprise the guy.
"...I'm jumping out the window..." I said as I started walking to one, "Wait! No! WHAT!?" Gloom exclaimed in shock as she started pulling me, "No, no! I failed this joke, I don't wanna live with the shame!" I insisted, still trying to go to the window.
While we were doing this bit, Ozpin entered the room, "What is going on...?" He questioned actually perplexed, "What's up Ozma?" I asked, causing a visible reaction as he tightened the grip on his cane, "I can start living happily again." I stated as I stopped struggling against Gloom, "You're crazy!" She said firmly with a stern look.
After Explaining.
"So you're looking for Malavia." Ozpin summarized the best he could, "That is the name coming up when we ask members of Blasphemy for the name of a leader..." He brought up in thought, "Look, I have no way of confirming this, but supposedly some students should be members, don't who, but there's should be some." He informed with a dubious look.
Gloom scratched her face wondering on how to find this information, "Is there anyone in particular Blasphemy is aiming to take down?" I asked, having an idea, "The current target seems to be Jacques Schnee, why-" Ozpin was asking why the question, but I interrupted, "Thank you! Bye! Good luck with your Ex!" I quickly said, pulling Gloom along with me.
Gloom's POV.
Dorm Rooms.
"Why is the name Jacques Schnee important exactly? He is causing trouble in Mondstadt last I heard, but that doesn't help our situation." I point out that it's two completely separate things, "Of course you'd think that!" Shimmer exclaimed pointing in my face, "Not having information about Remnant would make anyone on Teyvat ignorant to the fact that Jacques Schnee has a daughter and that she hates him! And that daughter also happens to be the heir to the Ceo position!" Shimmer ranted off for a bit.
Pushing the finger away from my face, I look her in the eyes, "So basically she's someone Malavia would want in her ranks." I elaborated, "That insight is why you're number two of the harbringers Gloom! And lucky for us! This daughter studies here at Beacon!" Shimmer revealed, making me gain a smirk.
"So that leaves us to..." Shimmer started as she pushed a door open, revealing four girls inside doing their thing, "...Ask you a few questions Weiss." Shimmer finished, pointing at the white haired girl currently doing her homework.
