Human-sized teddy bear

“You did well, my queen,” Silas stated with an exhilarated expression as he approached Tabitha. He took her hand and kissed her palm.

Tabitha felt disappointed in herself. She really wanted to win the teddy bear, especially because Silas had faith in her, but she failed him. Even now, she still had no idea why he was cheering for her when she had let him down.

“What's wrong?” Silas inquired after seeing her sad face.

Tabitha cast a vulnerable glance at him. “I failed. I didn't win the teddy bear. I failed you, and you…I don't know…you are still cheering for me. Why?” she finally asked.

Upon hearing this, Silas let out a quiet sigh. He raised his other hand to her face and used the back of his hand to move her hair to the back of her ear, caressing her cheek gently.
