Just the man she wanted

Silas's scent filled her nose, and his body comforted her to the extent that Tabitha forgot why she sought his warmth.

Her racing heart momentarily slowed as she hugged Silas, feeling safe and courageous again. Tabitha didn't know why she felt this way, but it made her happy.

After hugging Silas for two minutes, Tabitha pulled away gently and noticed that Donald was still in his car, watching them.

Feeling courageous and a little bold after hugging Silas and smelling his unique scent, the idea of making Donald jealous, or if not jealous, regretful, crossed her mind.

Tabitha looked up at Silas, who intended to ask her how she felt, but before he could proceed, she tiptoed and kissed his cheek lightly.

In response to this unexpected action, Silas's eyebrow slightly raised in suspicion. “What is going on?” he inquired, slowly pushing Tabitha to rest on his car, caging her with his arms.
