Tabitha was shocked by Silas's action. Attempting to create and maintain distance between them, she pushed him away, but he countered by grabbing her hand. Now, they found themselves on the bed, locked in a gaze.
‘How comfortable,’ Tabitha thought as she gazed into Silas's gray eyes. ‘This was just how I felt when I was in Donald's arms, but he turned out to be fake. They are all fake. How could I have been so dumb to want to believe Silas and trust him?’ At that moment, Tabitha despised herself and grimaced.
To her surprise, Silas held her tightly, making it challenging for her to free herself from being on top of him.
"Let me go, Silas! Let me go," she wanted to struggle but could only find herself yelling.
