Adaption to her absence

No matter how hard Tabitha tried to ignore Silas, whom she believed was at the door, and fall asleep with the music on, she just couldn't.

Her conscience couldn't allow her to do as she wanted. She kept thinking about Silas and what he said.

She wanted to hate Silas for what he did, but she just couldn't. She was hurt by his actions, but she couldn't hate him.

After spending two hours in the bathroom, Tabitha eventually turned the music off and wore Silas's boxer and hoodie again.

Her plan was to go to her room and lay on her bed, hoping that she might fall asleep, but she failed. Sleep eluded her because of Silas on her mind.

After battling with herself over whether to go outside her room to check on Silas and what he might be up to, she eventually decided to open the door to her room and check on Silas, as her mind couldn't be at rest.

Tabitha opened the door slowly, looking around to see if Silas was nearby, but she didn't bring her sight to the side of the door.
