Because I want to make you mine

“Well, I think you allowed her to make you forget about the plan we have tonight, Andrew,” Duke said, dropping the cigarette on the ground.

Sarafina sighed, trying to maintain her patience as Duke's behavior got on her nerves, making her feel like dragging his hair completely out of his scalp.

Andrew turned to Duke. “I didn't forget. I wanted you to understand that I have to take her home,” he explained.

“She isn't a child, is she?” Duke stood up and approached them.

Sarafina noticed the green silk shirt he was wearing, with short sleeves, paired with white baggy loose trousers that looked somewhat formal. She could tell his clothes were tailored, but she didn't care; she felt disgusted by him and looked away.

"Are you a child?" Duke asked Sarafina directly.

Upon hearing his question, Sarafina faced him with a look of disgust and hatred. "I can find my way home," she said to Andrew, planning to walk away.
