After about fifteen minutes, the flames in the kitchen subsided, and the chubby chef, all smiles, brought out several dishes.
They were visually appealing, with rich colors and an enticing aroma.
"Please, try my cooking and see if it suits your taste," the chef said, his excitement palpable.
Henry nodded with a smile, picked up his chopsticks, and the chef watched intently as Henry took a bite of the beef.
Only then did the chef seem to relax.
"By the way, we noticed a few other dishes on your menu that looked quite tasty. Could you prepare those for us as well?" Anna asked, pointing at a few dishes they hadn't tried yet.
The chef paused for a moment, then, with a smile, nodded and said, "Of course, whatever you'd like to eat."
He then lifted the curtain to the back kitchen and went in to reignite the stove.
Seizing the moment, Henry discreetly spat the piece of beef into a trash bin and rinsed his mouth with water.
