Bursted

The gunshot was meant for Reed but Carly was fast enough to block him and he took the bullet instead,the car didn't stop,they took off instantly

Gasps...

Students immediately began gathering in the scene.

Reed eyes widened and  immediately grabbed Carly before he landed on the floor

"Carly!! Carly!! Open your eyes please,Carly!!!" Reed called,shaking Carly's unconscious body

"Please open your eyes,don't leave me please..."

"I'm glad I was able to save you this time..." She said weakly as she bleeded from her tummy even more.

"Stop talking please,save your strength please..." Reed said I'm tears.

"Taxi..get a taxi..hurry up please!" Leah said to Freddie and he immediately left

Tears rolled down of Reed's eyes,Carly was bleeding really badly,he was shot on the chest.

Soon Freddie came back when he got the taxi,they both carried carry into the taxi and left for the hospital.

"Will she be okay? I should have come with them..." Lavender sniffled and Jasper hugged her

Leah actually went with them,with Freddie.

"She'll be fine" He said.

"What's going on?" Michelle asked Scarlet,who just hissed and walk out of her.

"What?" She said in disbelief,she actually left to check on Emma,who's still unconscious.

"So sad,I just hope she's okay..."

"Me too,I know I never liked her but I don't want her dead"

Michelle heard some group of girls conversation and that her even more confused.

"What's going on?" She mumbled when she saw Lavender crying.

She immediately rushed after Scarlet, she got back to the to and met her packing.

"What the f*ck happen our there? Why's everyone acting weird...."

"Oh please,stop acting as if you don't know what happened. Isn't this all your doing? You sent those men's to shot Carly,didn't you?" Scarlet snapped angrily.

"I didn't do anything,believe me!" Michelle immediately said.

Scarlet scoffed and continue packing. She dragged her back along with her as she made to walk out,but stop by the door.

"You shouldn't just stand there and pack your stuff if you want to leave with us,you don't expect the trip to still go on after what happen" She said and walk out.

"She got shot?"

Carly was brought in an hour ago,luckily they were able to get a private jet which brought them directly to the hospital in less than 45minutes.

She was still unconscious,her face pale and drawn. Reed sat by the bedside holding her hand as to wake her up.

She has been attended to but still unconscious,the doctors told them they've to wait for hours for the results and he's getting more than impatient.

His clothes were all soaked with her blood,and the more he recall how he couldn't do anything to save her,how she had took the bullet in his place make feel useless.

"Please, Carly. I need you. I love you so much." Tears streamed down his face as he whispered to her.

But there was no response. He felt helpless unable to do anything to help her. He was consumed by grief,and all he could do was wait and hope.

"Carly....I'm sorry" He sniffled as he stared at her with guilt.

The door opened revealing Freddie and Leah,he didn't even notice when they came in

"I think you should change that....it's all soaked" Leah said and Reed just look at her without a word.

"She's right,you don't have to worry.... We'll be here for her" Freddie said.

"I'm not leaving her" Reed cuts in.

Leah and Freddie stared at him pitifully.

Felix suddenly rushed in with Alex. Felix actually told him about it.

"How's she?" They both ask at a time.

"We're still waiting" Leah replied instead.

"She's gonna be fine!!" Felix patted him.

Reed nodded and force a smile.

"Do you have any idea who might be behind this?" Alex asked.

Reed shooked his head.

"Michelle of course" Leah rolled her eyes.

"Do you think she'll really go this far cos of a guy?" Felix said.

"I'm sure of it,who knows what else she might be planning" Leah hissed.

"Calm down babe...." Freddie held her.

"I don't care whoever it is but I don't care,I'll surely make them pay" Reed said seriously.

Leah phone buzzed,it's a text from Lavender.

*LET'S MEET AT THE AIRPORT*

"Guys we have to go now" She told the guys.

Alex nodded and they left afterwards.

"Stop worrying,she'll be okay" Felix said.

"It's not that easy" Reed said.

Just then,the door opened and Felix and Alex turned.

"Kylan?" Felix called surprisedly.

Reed turned.

"Hey Leah!" Lavender called out immediately they entered the airport.

Leah turned to the direction and immediately rushed to her,Freddie followed.

"How's my baby doing? Tell me she's okay? Please" Lavender said impatiently.

"She is still unconscious...." Leah replied and Lavender face fell.

"Let's have faith" Leah said and Lavender nodded.

"Where's everyone?" Freddie asked.

"They left already,we're the only ones here" Jasper replied.

Freddie nodded

"Here are you things! How can you pack so much as if you're never returning?" Lavender sighed as she hand thier bags to Freddie.

"Can you blame me? I finally acheive my dreams,too bad it was cut short" Leah pouted.

Jasper chuckled.

"Is that important right now? Let's goan see my baby" Lavender said and they all left the airport.

Michelle got back before Lavender,she has drop Emma at her place since she could drive cos of her state.

She sat by the cellar in the living room,sipping a wine.

"I just hope you die this time Carly,I really hope you're long gone from his life...." She screamed maniacally and started laughing like some crazy woman

"I can't wait for him all to myself again" She said dreamily and pour herself another fill glass

"What's the occasion for? You seem to be in good mood" Gladys appeared,smiling.

"How can you guess so soon mum? I'm the happiest on earth right now" Michelle continue laughing.

"Mind sharing it with mummy?" Gladys grinned.

"I got rid of my biggest enemy"

"How?"

"I dunno! I guess there's someone who also hate her so much,they made it more easy for me" Michelle smiled.

"I'm happy for you,have you see your dad? He didn't show up at the office?" Gladys said looking around.

"My dad?" Michelle chuckled

"Yes,is something wrong?"

"No" Michelle fake a smile and continue drinking.

"What if that dude is cheating on me?" Gladys panicked.

"That will make you even,you also cheated on him with me right?" Michelle smirked.

"What do you mean?"

"Quit the act mom,I know that's I'm not his real daughter" Michelle said.

Gladys eyes widened.

Lavender eyes widened from outside,she was almost walking in when she heard that.

Reed came back into the ward and was surprised to met Kylan.

"What are you doing here this early?" He asked.

"What else? Your friends said you refused to get some rest or even eat something" Kylan replied.

"I'm not hungry" Reed muttered.

"I know,but you have to take something fool! What if she woke and found out you've been starving yourself,she won't be happy" Kylan snapped.

"Hey! The last time I checked,we don't get along. Why taking this personal?" Reed rolled his eyes.

"I'm not doing this for you,but for her..." Kylan mumbled.

"Seriously?" Reed chuckled.

"Yh"

Reed said nothing,he sat next to Carly and tucked her hair into her ear.

"Can't believe she still look so much pretty in sickbed, ain't I the luckiest?" Reed face Kylan.

"Good for you! I'll try more hard in getting her in our next life so watch out" Kylan rolled his eyes.

"For real?" Reed mocked.

"Are you scared she'll choose me over you"

"Never"

"Whatever" Kylan said.

"Do you inform her mom about this?" He added.

"I don't want her to be worried" Reed muttered and Kylan sighed.

"Fine,you still have to get some rest. I'll watch over her if you're worried" Kylan said.

"Thank you" Reed smiled.

Leah walked out of the bedroom,and made her way downstairs,she went straight to the kitchen and met Freddie.

"What are you doing?" She asked when she got to him.

"Making breakfast of course,for you" He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Oh" She mouthed and stood watching.

"I got a call from Kylan,he said Carly is okay now...."

"Really? We should go to her?" Leah said

"She's still unconscious" Freddie added.

"Oh,poor Reed" Leah pouted.

"I know right..."

"I don't blame her,I can also do the same for you...."

"Stop joking around,it's not funny" Freddie cuts in

"Just kidding! Why are you so serious this morning?" Leah rolled her eyes.

"I don't want to loose you... "

"Me too" She smiled and peck his lips lightly.

"Let me help you with that..."

"I'm almost done,don't worry" he immediately declined.

"What if we got married? Are you still going to be doing this for me?"

"Of course,who knows you might be carrying out first child then,you can't do anything" He grinned and Leah hit him.

"Pervert,think about exams first" Leah rolled her eyes.

"I'll take this out" She grabbed the trashcan and went outside to dispose it,as she did,she felt eyes on her and immediately became alarmed.

She look up to see a middle aged man,staring at the house but immediately thier eyes met he took to his heels.

"Hey! Come back! Hey!" She tried running after him but lost him.

"Fuck!" She sighed and went back. She met Freddie outside.

"Why did you suddenly ran off like that? You scared me" He said immediately.

"A strange man was staring at your house" Leah said.

"A strange man?" Freddie repeated.

Lauren descended the stairs in a rush with her bags.

She kept looking out to make sure she's save.

"Hey! Help me with this!" She called the attention of the maid who immediately took the bag from her.

"Take them to the car,hurry!" She snapped and the maid immediately ran out with the bags.

"I've to leave before that crazy lady come back" She said hastily. Actually,the assassin she sent already told her they killed Reed already.

Maybe they didn't see who the bullet got before they left

She smiled proudly and made to twist the door knob but someone beat her to it.

"Lady Aurora?" She gasped as she matched in and slapped her twice across her face.

"How dare you Lauren? You went too far?" Lady Aurora shouted angrily.

"Let's talk about this ma'am,it's not what you think" Lauren went on her knees faking tears.

"Talk about what? How you tried to kill my son and you didn't suceeed or how you planned to run away with all my money!" Lady Aurora barked.

Lauren eyes widened.

'Reed is fine?' She said inwardly

"I'm sorry....." She begged in tears.

"Too late cos you're going to rot in jail and pay for your crime....."

"What's going on here?" A voice suddenly said from behind.

They both turned at once to see no one else but....Reed!
