Percy woke up that morning, in his cabin, feeling like something was missing....something that had been part of him. What did that mean? "I can, uh, figure that out later. Right now, though, I need to eat." So, he three his covers off, dressed, brushed his teeth, and tried to comb his hair, but it didn't look right no matter what style he put it in, so he left it, and threw on some deodorant. Then, he made sure his pen, Riptide, was with him, and ran for the Pavillion. Once he got there, he sat at his table, and took his plate, now full of pancakes, to the fire. He scraped some off as an offering to his father, Poseidon, and sent him a silent prayer, too. Then, he went back to his table, and ate his breakfast. After that, he met Annabeth outside the Pavillion, and they went toward the training grounds. Percy wondered if he should tell her that he felt like a part of him was missing. She would help in any way she could. So, on the way to train, he explained it to her. She was Wise Girl, after all, so maybe she could help him figure it out.
