Chapter 4

Annabeth knew why she hadn't felt like herself earlier, walking out of the pavilion with Percy, who was now unconscious. Somehow, and she didn't know how it was possible, or who had caused it, but they had their powers swapped. Percy had what used to be her smarts and intuitions. Annabeth had what used to be his ability to control and breathe underwater and she could probably talk to horses too. So....did that make her a daughter of Poseidon, and Percy a son of Athena, or was she overthinking it? She didn't know. But she needed to get Percy to the infirmary if CPR didn't work. She scrambled over to him. "Percy! Wake up for me, come on, please!" She placed her hands on his chest, and started pumping, then tried mouth-to-mouth after, and did not get a reaction. She placed her hand under his nose. He was breathing, but only barely, which meant she needed to take him to a child of Apollo. She did her best, wrapping his arms around her neck, and holding his legs against her waist, then stood, and set off. In no time, she was at the infirmary, but....something was off. "What are you doing in here?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at the boy in front of her, and standing strong under her boyfriend's weight.
