If there is darkness in the human heart

Kyle breathed a sigh of relief as the supermarket door opened effortlessly, allowing sunlight to reveal a panorama of untouched supplies. In the post-apocalyptic silence, his footsteps echoed among empty shelves. Methodically, he gathered packaged food, water, and daily necessities.

However, the silence was shattered by inappropriate sounds from another aisle. As Kyle approached, he heard pleas for help.

"Help! Someone, please help me!"

Arriving at the source, Kyle was stunned witnessing a shocking scene: a group of thugs raping a woman. Observing them lost in their world, unaware of his presence, Kyle approached slowly.

When close enough, he delivered a powerful kick to the first thug's face, rendering him helpless. The woman, astonished, asked, "Who are you?"

Even the other thugs were bewildered, having been absorbed in their actions. While waiting for their boss to finish, Kyle delivered a swift, powerful kick to the boss's face, leaving him sprawled on the floor, his fate unknown.

"Who are you?" one of the thugs asked.

"I am someone who dislikes lingering around foolish matters," Kyle replied.

"Do you want to be a late hero?" he was asked again.

"I came not because I'm a hero. I came because you were too noisy, and I wanted to find food in peace."

In disbelief, one thug angrily shouted, "Destroy him, all of you!"

But before they could move, precise punches landed at lightning speed. The sound of blows and the groans of the injured thugs created an eerie melody. Kyle, with his deadly right hand, controlled the fight effortlessly, leaving the thugs in agonizing conditions.

Stopping his assault, letting the thugs moan in pain, Kyle stared at them expressionlessly, his grace in every movement contrasting with the brutality he had just displayed.

The frightened woman said, "I've never seen anything like this before."

Kyle, with a cold expression, said, "The world has changed, and we must adapt."

One thug, still crawling on the floor with a bruised face, tried to gather his strength. "You... You will regret—"

Before he could finish, a kick to the head left him lying. His fate remained unknown.

"People who threaten me never end well," Kyle uttered coldly.

As the situation calmed down, Kyle turned to the woman, who seemed shaky with trembling legs. "Are you okay?" he asked, showing concern.

She nodded, giving Kyle a small smile. However, as Kyle resumed his task of collecting food, he saw something that made him pause.

His gaze inadvertently fell on the woman he had just saved. With a heavy heart, he realized she had become a victim of cruelty in the midst of this world's destruction.
