Ch 78: Unlikely interests [pt2]

Meria had been saying all that to Kerin as a joke, but he felt that the emperor was interested in meeting his friend.

That caused a spark of jealousy and irritation to lighten up inside Meria's heart, but he stiffened it as soon as it started.

'It's okay if Kerin wants to meet another Omega. I am sure that it is for a good purpose.'

Even though Meria could justify Kerin's actions, that did not mean he liked how he was feeling.

So, he was infinitely thankful when Kerin denied his offer to meet Alfred.

"I am not interested in meeting other omegas. It is different if you want to introduce your friend to me. But even then, I will not look at someone other than you."

The emperor assured us that it would have sounded much more believable if the emperor was not a thirteen-year-old kid.

It was an emotional scene, but Meria still felt a laugh bubbling in his throat.
