Ch 110: Plans [pt1]

"Everything looks good. I won't worry about the general now. It's just exhaustion, so there is no need to worry."

Meria was pulled back into his body, and pain assaulted his senses.

He groaned and felt people turning toward him to check up on his condition.

Meria tried looking around for Kerin, but his instincts had already told him his alpha was not there.

'There is no need to be so disappointed. It is a good thing that Kerin is not here. It means that he is not hurt enough to be brought here, and he can recover in his room. But this place looks familiar.'

Meria forced himself to wake up to look around where he was.

The familiar lights and decorations reminded him of his home, and Lady Rukia's presence calmed him down.

"W-Where-?"

Meria asked as he pushed himself to sit.

The small gesture sent jolts of pain up his spine, and Meria could not sit properly.
