Caitlyn struggles to fit in and be unique. A freshman at college ready to start a new chapter in her life, away from the pressure of her family. The last thing on her mind now that she's in college was dating, not with the situationship she's in.

Going back to school after a few years at home, Caitlyn felt on edge but not any less excited about going to school, nothing could bring her down from her school-high, especially not her feeling like things are about to change, not exactly bad but not real good either. The voice in her head had been there all her life and was very much pessimistic as she was, so it was easy to dismiss it's derogatory words, and sum it up to her nerves getting in her head. For once in her pretty lame life she felt optimistic.

       The Sunset series is the first book in the Sunset saga, it tells the story of a young woman who finds herself in a place far more different from what she's familiar with, how she struggled to fit in, the reckless life she lived, her  pain and the choices she made good and bad. It shows our flaws in wanting to adapt and be like everyone as well as being distinctive and unique while being like everyone and no one.The feeling of belonging we crave even if it's from the wrong people, the actions we take and decisions we couldn't care less about or think are the perfect choice that ruins us. The Sunset Series

The weekend was over, I wasn't too happy about that but at least I had an excuse not to visit Jeremy. 


I liked his vibe but the guy was too much for me to handle, besides he had a girl in his life that seems to be more than a girlfriend to him, though I don't know much about that and it's got nothing to do with me, I'd never be with someone that already got a special person in their life, I don't wanna end up as the other girl. 


I left not to return but two days after I found myself going back again and again until the night I innocently stayed over so he could help me out with the new piece I was working on, I really had great expectations for it and needed the insight of an expert or someone close to being an expert and that turned out to be Jeremy. 


That night things didn't go as planned at least not for me the same couldn't be said about Jeremy.
