Evolution 4

I spend the next few months with reading all sorts of books, while doing so I came across another way to pass time.

Music or more precisely playing instruments. It wasn´t an action that had any sort of combat potential or had any use beside entertainment but it didn´t have to, even I could use a hobby.

Well, calling it a hobby would be wrong, it was more like a way to spend the time with something besides drowning in carnal desires.

I didn´t have a place where I could play properly so I build a music room before starting. I had to make the instruments in my Workshop because I didn´t have even one laying around.

A few years passed, my DNA was at 9% and I had gotten very skilled with most Instruments. An old problem soon arose, boredom.

Satisfied with what I achieved, I finally started to bet used to using weapons with this body but once again, there was problem.

All my weapons in my Weaponry weren´t for someone with my current size. That was a welcome problem however because it gave a reason for me to start practicing a new craftsmanship.

I have always been a fan of Blacksmithing and Forging but never had the opportunity to do it myself but that was different now. I had actually built a Forge a long time ago and even made sure that it was build and enchanted in ways that would make any Blacksmith that wasn´t a God of Forging beg me to work for me.

I wasn´t going to use any of my really precious material for now because I was still growing at a rapid pace and I was only practicing.

I had actually grown from my previous 4,1 meters to 4,9 meters over the last few years and I was certain that I wasn´t going to stop growing anytime soon. I hope I was going to stop growing before 20 meters otherwise I will have to look for ways to stunt or stop my growth. I already had to completely enchant my Home to make size irrelevant or I would have to constantly rebuild it to fit my size.

I started small by forging daggers and knifes before continuing with sword, spears and axes. I did many experiments and had even more failures.

I had the knowledge of the goblins and many alchemists as well as even more Ideas. After many failures I had to accept that Damascus wasn´t as good as many Authors portrayed it. It didn´t matter if you folded the metal a hundred, a thousand or a million times, what was really important was material, equipment and most importantly Instinct.

A blacksmiths instinct was leagues above any technique as it would tell him when he had to do what and how. I learned this lesson the hard way.

I didn´t notice the passage of time as I started creating weapons and armors with the most beautiful designs. I don´t know when it happened but forging had become my only real hobby, not like the instruments that were just mend to waste time.

By the time I came back to senses from my new addiction hobby, many years have passed, both my Armory and Weaponry had enough equipment to fight a war and my DNA was at 23%.

Holy, this was addicting, I should probably spend a few centuries away from the forge or I won´t ever stop. I didn´t mind being in the forge and making equipment for a few thousand years but not all eternity.

Since I already had Weapons of all sorts and sizes, why not continue by getting used to them.

It took me probably around a year before I got used to using all Weapons again. My new pair of arms allowed a whole new way of fighting. I was still using a great sword, which I could actually now use with two hands without losing mobility, but I have decided to use an Axe occasionally as well.

I was thinking of Axe, Club and morning star for my second weapon but ended with Axe because that was on the top of the list all these years ago when I decided which weapon I would use. Above the Axe was actually the spear but this didn´t go well with a sword in my other hands.
