Middle Earth 5

Coming to Lothlórien might have been a mistake, although they weren't as aggressive as the Elves of Mirkwood, they also weren't as hospitable as Rivendell, not to mention the constant feeling of being watched by something beyond my perception was unnerving.

I wandered the forest's edge for a few days before deciding that a meeting with the elf who could shatter me into hundreds of pieces with a flick of her hand wasn't worth the risk for just a bit of tourism.

With my plans with Lórien canceled, I made my way down to the Fangorn forest by foot, following the river would lead me to the gates of Mordor which wasn't something I wanted to deal with right now, especially since I had noticed the increase of encounters with orcs, goblins, and other filthy beings.

The Fangorn forest should be a lot saver for me since although it is inhabited by Ents and is near Isengard, neither of the two should pose a threat to me or even have a reason to antagonize me.

Once I satisfied my need to blindly wander across a magical forest, I would make my way east through the Brown Lands before going up to Lake Town where I would prepare to catch an elf and wait. If I went after her any sooner or later than that, I would either have to fight Legolas or be hunted by him.

Elves were just cheat-like existences, they had eternal life and could practice anything as long as they wanted, even an idiot would pick up a few things after training for hundreds of years, not to mention a talented elven prince who has lived for almost three thousand years. If I caught her in the forest while he was going after her, he would definitely find my tracks.

Even if I was more skilled in tracking and sneaking than probably any elf, it was just impossible to move through a forest while carrying someone else, without any magic or power assistance.

Not a week later, I stood in front of the Fangorn forest. It looked rather dark and eerie from the outside but I could also feel something magical about it, like it was just a facade to scare unwelcome guests.

I spent the next few weeks, maybe even over a month, wandering the forest while making sure to be respectful to nature and especially the 'trees', I didn't want to be stomped on because I used one of their friends as firewood.

I could occasionally hear whispers and murmurs but decided to ignore them. There were more things in these woods than sentient broccoli, for example, some magical butterflies, an incredibly clean pond, not to mention the wonderful starry sky.

I should probably leave soon, not only have the whispers of the trees become a lot more frequent and louder, but I was also pretty sure that the company had formed and was on its way, they might even have reached Rivendell already.

That gave me about a year time before anything else happened, why didn't they just take the Giant Eagles to Erebor, they were clearly able to fly that far since they appeared during the battle for the mountain.

Once I am done with the whole Erebor thing, I will travel Middle Earth for a bit and explore its other sights. I wanted to explore the west shores, Moria, and at the very last destination, Mordor.

A/N- I can't find enough topics I can write in one chapter, making it mostly just filler and I think you can feel that, so I will be starting with a time skip next chapter and go faster from then on.

Sorry for the short chapter, I just can't think of anything else he could do in these 12 months and I don't want to bore you.
