The system's voice echoed in Riser's mind, devoid of emotion yet brimming with intrigue.
"Riser Phenex, by deepening your bonds with Asia Argento, there's a possibility of gaining more luck points. Developing a romantic relationship with her means stealing a future member of Issei's harem."
His golden eyes gleamed with amusement.
'So, the system is actively encouraging me to take heroines for myself? Interesting.'
A new alert rang in his mind.
"Host, due to your constant plot changes, fate has intervened. The Canon will now begin 25 days earlier. You have only 3 days before Issei Hyoudou is turned into a devil."
A sigh escaped his lips.
"Of course, the damn protagonist's luck wouldn't make things easy."
He rubbed his temples.
'Three days. That's all I have to maximize my luck points.'
His mind raced through the possibilities.
'The protagonist thrives not just on opportunities and heroines but also on weak villains who serve as his stepping stones. If I eliminate those fallen angels and take care of that idiot joining Sona's Peerage, I can shift the balance even further in my favor.'
His decision was made.

Phenex Manor – Private Chamber
Ravel's eyes sparkled with gratitude.
"Thank you for giving Asia to me, Onii-sama."
Riser shook his head.
"You don't need to thank me, Ravel. Just take care of her properly."
A knock at the door.
Lord Phenex entered the chamber, his aura of authority filling the space.
"Riser," he spoke, his tone firm, "I was speaking with Zeoticus. We've decided to advance your marriage. It will take place this month. You are to travel to Kuoh immediately and meet your bride."
Riser remained unfazed.
"Understood, father. It will be done."
Lord Phenex studied him for a moment before continuing.
"I didn't question your decision to give Ravel your Peerage, but you need to gather pieces to participate in the Rating Game."
Riser nodded.
"I'm already searching for new members. I'll use this trip to find some while visiting Rias."
"Good. I expect results."
Riser stood, turning toward Ravel.
"I'm counting on you to watch over Asia."
Ravel tilted her head.
"You're leaving again?"
"Yes."
"Can I go with you?"
Riser smirked.
"No. You have work to do in the Underworld."

Kuoh City – Occult Research Club
Rias sat on the velvet sofa, her brows furrowed. Across from her, Sona crossed her arms, watching intently.
Tsubaki stood behind her master, silent as always.
Akeno gracefully poured tea, her usual teasing smile absent.
The tension in the room was suffocating.
Sona spoke first.
"What happened, Rias?"
Rias exhaled deeply.
"My father has moved up the wedding date."
Sona's gaze sharpened.
"Then you'd better add that Issei boy to your Peerage soon."
Rias clenched her fists.
"Yes. I'm just waiting for the fallen angel to make her move."
Sona's lips pressed into a thin line.
"I don't like this. We should expel them from our territory immediately."
Rias shook her head.
"After my plan succeeds, we will."
Sona sighed.
"I hope you know what you're doing."
Rias met her gaze, unwavering.
"I do. Trust me."
Sona leaned back, unconvinced.
"What about you? Are you adding that boy, Saji, to your Peerage?"
Sona nodded.
"He doesn't have Issei's potential, but with training, he'll be useful on the frontlines."
Their conversation continued, but the tension remained.

Kuoh City – Riser's Hideout
Riser, Yubelluna, and Shizuku sat in the dimly lit room. The scent of incense lingered in the air.
Riser's voice was calm, yet firm.
"Yubelluna, did you scout the abandoned church?"
She bowed slightly.
"Yes, Riser-sama. There are at least four fallen angels present."
His golden eyes gleamed.
"Good. And Shizuku?"
The silent girl nodded.
"I tracked Saji Genshirou. I know his home, his routine, and his weaknesses."
Riser smirked.
"Excellent. Tonight, we move. Shizuku, once night falls, teleport to Saji's house and abduct him. Yubelluna and I will eliminate the fallen angels."
They nodded.
The hunt was on.

Abandoned Church – Midnight
Dohnaseek leaned against the broken altar.
"When are we finally killing that boy?"
Raynare giggled, twirling a strand of her hair.
"Soon. First, I'll seduce him, tell him I love him… then kill him."
Kalawarner rolled her eyes.
"You always have to play these games. Just kill him."
Mittelt snickered.
"What's wrong, Kala? Feeling soft for a human?"
Kalawarner scoffed.
"Tch. I just want to finish our orders quickly."
A new voice echoed through the ruined hall.
"Ah, yes. Angels of the Lord, planning murder."
A blonde man stepped into the light.
Riser Phenex.
Dohnaseek moved to speak—
Snap.
He exploded.
Yubelluna appeared beside Riser, a cruel smirk playing on her lips.
"Speak only when Master Riser permits, worms."
The remaining fallen angels froze.
Raynare dropped to her knees.
"P-please! Don't kill me! I'll do anything!"
Riser clicked his tongue.
'If I don't entertain myself with Yubelluna later, I might actually fall for this act.'
With a flick of his wrist, blue flames erupted—
Raynare disintegrated.
Riser exhaled.
"Let's finish this quickly."

Saji's Residence
A whisper in the dark.
Shizuku materialized in Saji's room.
Before he could react—
She struck.
Saji's vision blurred.
A portal shimmered.
They vanished.
---
Back at the Church
Riser inspected Saji's unconscious form.
"Did everything go as planned?"
Shizuku nodded.
"Yes, Master Riser."
Saji stirred, confused.
"W-where am I? Who are you?"
Riser's golden gaze locked onto him.
"You won't live long enough for that to matter."
A hand rose.
Flames erupted.
Saji screamed.
For a moment.
Then, silence.
Riser turned to his subordinates.
"Clean this up."
Shizuku summoned a portal. The bodies, the blood— all erased.
Riser turned away, the night swallowing him whole.
The game had changed.
And he was the one rewriting the rules.
