Chapter 10

As we go through life, we see lots of things. Our experiences, senses and awareness all form the thing we know as reality. However, what if, one day you wake up, and suddenly, up is down, black is red and candy tastes like ginger? You would think something was seriously wrong, till you realize that's how they always have been. And at that moment, you realize that your entire life, was a lie.

On a certain day, in a deep thicket, Noah and his friends had just finished questioning a group of men with a truck, and after receiving the information, they took one of the men with them and Kurai, who had a bit of driving experience took the wheel as they continued their journey back to civilisation, but 1st, they decided to raid every camp they came across.

Noah to Jerry on the phone; Anyway, we found a few documents and paperwork belonging to the smugglers.

Jerry; did anyone escape during the raid?

Noah; nope, and from what I hear, no one from one camp is allowed to go near another camp till a specific day of the month.

Jerry; I see, at least now, we can use that to our advantage when we cut their communication, they won't come around to see what's going on.

Noah; yeah, I'll send my location to you right now.

Jerry; Don't sweat it, this call is already being traced, your location will be found in no time at all.

Noah; nice.

Jerry; also, do me a favour, leave all those documents exactly where you found them. We'll handle the rest later; you just focus on trying to get back alright?

Noah; thanks for your help man.

Jerry; Anytime Noah.

Jerry then stood up from his bed and looked outside the window, he was on the second highest floor of the Takai, a building built in his honour. The reason why he was here being simple, it was on the growing problem which kept on arising known as the Tsukuyomi clan, and Black rose. The night before, he came to the estate to personally fill everyone in, before he was escorted to the suite which he had just woken up from before getting a call from Noah.

Choki then appeared in the room.

Jerry; Choki, listen up.

Choki; yes, lord?

Jerry; I need you to deliver a message to the pillars for me.

Then Jerry gave Choki his instructions and sent him off.

Jerry; man, I love instant summoning.

[Nite is energy that is normally invisible to the human eye, except for in cases where nite users can see the nite around them and because of hat, one can spread this energy across distances which Is what Jerry decided to take advantage of a few years ago when he spread his nite throughout the estate. Another thing he learnt was that no matter how far his nite was from him, he could always bring it back to him or control it in any way he saw fit. So one day, he decided to release a bit of nite a few meters around him, and after a lot of focus and failed attempts, he was able to summon someone with his nite from any part of the nite around him and since all of Ga-den was using his nite, he could summon anyone he wanted, which was helpful if he needed backup]

Jerry; *I've been using this technique for the past year now, I can summon anyone from anywhere in the estate thanks to the dome I created, and the range I can spread nite from my body is 20 meters at least for now. In any case, I could bring 10 to 20 people with me if we were to raid the assassins, they're not that strong anyway, however, once we get proof that they're up to no good, that would be a different story*

Choki; the message has been delivered.

Jerry; Choki, sit down for a moment, let's talk.

Now, for the past 3 years I won't lie, you've gotten much stronger, I can feel that from you.

Choki; you mean your nite inside me, right?

Jerry; oh that, yes. You're now ranked 5th, in fact almost 4th.

Choki; I planned that when I become 4th, I'll personally challenge cousin Izuku for 3rd place.

Choki; what do you mean? I'm one of the ranked fighters which means I'm by default your personal guard. So why won't I be loyal?

Jerry; if I told you to kill your brother, or your entire family, without a reason, would you do it.

Choki; yes, I would, I would gladly kill anyone for you.

Jerry; and that's the thing, it feels uncomfortable just knowing that. also where does all this resolve come from?

Choki; I would just like to say I'm doing this for myself, I want to get stronger and I'm not just talking about the 3rd rank I want to be as strong as 1st and beyond that and I will stand by you and miss Lisa till I die.

Choki; not to mention that nervous fit she pulls from time to time, especially when romance is involved.

Jerry; ahhhh.

Choki; I do, but I'm still going to do this, for myself alone.

Jerry; alright, I won't stop you, you can leave now.

And so Jerry did so. The next day, a dark skinned woman in a black cloak was walking around a quiet street, meanwhile Jerry and Tom where both walking on that same street, they were walking only meters apart until…

Tom; and so then, I grabbed two swords and yelled, ONIGIRI! (rice balls) as loud as I could, then slashed the dummy in half.

Jerry; look who's finally taking training seriously. Hey look, that woman up ahead tripped.

Tom (whispering); I'm pretty sure she had a moon pin on her.

Jerry; hey miss, is everything alright?

Tom; yes, let us help you up.

?; wow, you boys really are sweet, I can tell you where both raised right.

Just then, the two boys got a peak at the woman's face and what they saw, shocked them to their core.

Jerry and Tom; Mom?!

Jerry on the brink of tears; it really is you.

Erica; Yes, it is me.

Tom; what, how, why now?

Erica; I know, you have a lot of questions for me, let's talk somewhere private.

A few moments later, in a small eatery…

Erica; ohhh, so sorry, I was feeling a little, light in the head. Now what do you want to ask.

Tom, who was very angry; ask? You've been gone all these years and you're speaking so casually like this is some casual visit? We thought you we're dead for years!

Jerry; calm down Tom, I know how you fell but let's hear her out 1st .

Jerry to Erica; were have you been all this time? And why do you have that moon pin?

Erica; oh that, I've been taking care of some business.

Jerry; what kind?

Erica; I'll tell you if you, but 1st, how's your father? I hope he's ok.

Jerry; we don't know what's happened to him for now.

Erica; oh, I'm honestly not surprised, your father always was such a reckless man, I wouldn't be surprised if he were dead by now.

Tom; that's it.

Then Tom grabbed his sword from its hilt, while Jerry removed the moon pin from their mother's chest, and threw it up, then Tom slashed it with his sword.

Erica; Wow, I'm impressed you figured that out.

Tom; for the record if you hadn't had that pin, you'll be sliced in half by now.

Erica; wow, so sadistic.

Jerry; anyway can you answer us now.

Erica; of course my one and only biological son, 1st …

Jerry; wait, what do you mean biological son? I thought we were both adopted.

Erica; yes, you are, but that was what I wanted everyone to think, including your father. See Jerry, I was the one who gave birth to you.

A long time ago, before I met your father, I was an assassin. I had killed several people, then one day, during a mission, I was assigned to kill a wealthy businessman who was part of the clan's sworn enemies, the Hasashi organization. It had taken me longer long to lure him in, and even longer to gain his trust, I knew he was too smart to fall for a measly seduction tactic, so I had to make him fully fall in love with me, and then I did so, he then introduced to his friends, co-workers and partners, which is how I met Sora, he was a big fan of Sora and never shut up about him. After several months of spoiling me with designer clothes and expensive trips, I had fallen for him, or so I thought. Then one day, he asked me to marry him, I said yes and after hugging me in his joy, I stabbed him in the back and watched him bleed out. That day, I was trying to test myself, If I had actually fallen in love with him, I would have stopped, or at least hesitated. But I did not, I simply stabbed him and passed on. However, by that time, I was already pregnant with his child and after several months, he was born. I then set him up for adoption and after gaining Sora's sympathy and marrying him, I came back for my son. It turned out, I had become more attached than I thought.

Jerry; wait, but I thought the reason you adopted was because you had no children of your own?

Erica; oh, that, yeah, I just sterilized myself.

Jerry and Tom; WHAT?!

Erica; yes, I had to make sure I couldn't conceive so we would be forced to adopt. And now I have my precious biscuit back.

Jerry; ok, by the way, my real father, what was his name?

Erica; oh that, it was Jerimiah Josuke.

Jerry; wait, so…

Erica; me and your father decided on it, he said it was in memory of his late friend and of my late fiancée.

Jerry; ok, I see how it is. So why did you leave?

Erica; the assassins where looking for me. If had stayed, they would have killed all of you so I had to.

Jerry; so are you trying to say you left for our sake?

Erica; is it that hard to believe?

Jerry; it sounds too convenient, emotionally, for us.

Is that the real/only reason you left?

Erica; it is, that and they were going to make me leader of the assassins.

Jerry; I knew it.

Erica; don't get me wrong, if you weren't involved, I would have declined. When I got back I went under the name Elena, at least, just to hide the identity I had as a wife with children.

Jerry; I see, so Elena is your real name.

Erica; yes, but too me, Elena is no more than the part of myself I want to get rid of the most, I much prefer being Erica you see.

Jerry; I see, so tell me, why didn't you come back? From the info I've heard, the current leader of the assassins has only been there for 5 years.

Erica; yes, about that, I just didn't want to face your father.

Tom; why not?

Erica; remember when I said your father was stubborn? I meant it, in fact he's stubborn to the point where he feels like everything is under his control and no one could tell/prove him otherwise.

Jerry; how?

Erica then smiled saying,

Everything that has happened to you for the past 5 years, was all part of your father's plan.

[Aizen would be rolling seeing this]

Erica; yes?

Tom; Dad isn't Aizen from bleach is he?

Erica; of course he's not. In fact, I bet he wishes he was Sora.

Tom; Damn, now that's crazy.

Jerry; I think we can agree Byakuya is still the GOAT.

Erica and Tom; yeah absolutely 100%.
