Chapter 13

On the 16th of June, the Tsukuyomi clan was hosting formal to celebrate their new head, they invited several executives and business men, as some politicians as well to join in the festivities. While preparations for this was going on, at about 15:00 two boys where outside the gate of the Tsukuyomi clan estate, they were Tom and Itona.

Tom; you know what to do right?

Itona; yeah.

Tom; alright, but before I ask, are you sure you want to do this? You've got nothing to gain and on top of that, I'm only doing this out of my own selfishness.

Itona; listen Tom, during these past few months, I've thought about what Greg said, and I think he was right, I should have trusted him from the beginning. Mom shouldn't have died and the assassins need to be stopped before more people are killed or exported. So this isn't just for you, it's for me, dad and everyone else who's been affected by the assassins, got me?

Tom; I do. Now begin.

A few minutes later…

Guard; hey, doesn't that look like smoke over there?

Guard 2; yeah, it does.

Head guard; WHAT ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING? THERE'S A FIRE AT THE SOUTH GATE! WE NEED TO EXTINGUSHI IT EMIDIATELY!

Guards; YES, SIR!

Tom; went just as planned, set the south gate on fire with Itona's ability as a diversion while we sneak in through the west. 

Itona; good, so what next?

Tom; we need to weaken their forces before Jerry and the others get here, so we need to take out their top dogs one by one.

Itona; alright then let's go.

After a few minutes of walking and surveying the area, the two boys sat, were about move east but then…

Tom; hay, I just noticed something.

Itona; what is it?

Tom; there seems to be a blind spot on the estate, with no cameras, watch towers, guards, anything. It seems a little too suspicious.

Itona; you're right, I noticed it when we climbed up that building for a better view, it looks like the westernmost part of the estate.

Tom; then I guess that's where we'll go.

So when the boys got there, they found what seemed to be an ordinary padlocked shed.

Tom; it's just a shed.

Itona; what if there's something inside? 

Tom; obviously, but if we try to get inside by force, someone's gona notice, and when they do we're gona have some problems.

Itona; yeah, let's just ignore it, it probably isn't worth it anyway.

Rose who was hiding at the back; *whew* they didn't see me. 

Rose as she was coming out; *I think that was Tom and Itona what are they doing here, at least they're gone now.

Just as She turned her head…

Tom; Rose?

Rose; Tom…

Then Itona pushed both of them behind the shed after seeing a guard approaching. Then after the guard left…

Itona; the coast is clear.

Tom; Rose, I can't believe it, you're alive, and…

Tom and Rose; what are you doing here?

Tom; you 1st.

Rose; no you.

Itona; Rose, with all fairness, we all thought you were dead for the past 2 months. I believe you owe us an explanation.

Rose; fine. I'm here on my own will, ok. I'm an assassin.

Tom; I see. I figured that might be the case. So, how many people have you killed so far?

Rose; why should that matter? I said I'm an assassin ok.

Tom; that's not what I asked. How many people have you killed?

Rose; none.

Tom; it's just as I thought. You see Rose, there was a reason I fell for you, it's not because you're pretty, call me darling or gave me that food. It was because, while I was with you, I always sensed this pure, undefiled aura coming of you. Like someone without a hint of malice. Not even Tsubaki had what I felt. And it's the same now. 

Tom; So please, don't lie to me, you can tell me the truth when you want to. 

Rose; fine, I owe someone a large debt, and I'm here to repay it.

Tom; then let's help you.

Rose; no, it's something I must do on my own. 

Also, I don't think this is going to work out.

Tom, shocked; what are you saying?

Rose; It's just like I said, don't think we can be together.

Tom; hold on, so you're saying, for the past year now, you made get over Tsubaki, then after falling for you, I thought you were dead for 2 months, and now after seeing you again, you decide to just leave?

Rose; …

Tom; then tell me, what was the point of all that? why did you help me in the 1st place.

Rose, with tears in her eyes; it was, because I love you.

But now I… I just can't abandon what I need to do.

Itona; listen, you should better leave this place, before long, Tsukuyomi will fall, we'd rather not have you here when that happens. However, can you point us to where the strongest guys are?

Rose; at the north-west plaza, near the main building, where the party is being held.

Itona; good. Tom, let's go.

Tom, then stood up and followed Itona,

And with that, Tom and Itona headed for the north-west of the estate, while Rose looked on, and shed tears while doing so asking herself, did I do the right thing? Should I have stopped him? What more could I have done?

Maya in the shed who heard everything; so, was that your boyfriend? 

Rose; no, he isn't.

Maya; don't lie to me, every now and then, you have this strange look in your eye, and you always seem so happy, and then when that Tom guy showed up, you couldn't keep your eyes off him, and you also had that face to.

Rose just sat down, and cried after Maya said that.

Rose; there, there, nothing to be upset about! Soon after Bachi's plan Is complete, you can spend all the time you want with him. I permit you, after all, you do owe me your life.

40 minutes later, Tom and Itona made it into the plaza, they then located the top ranked, Riomen who was talking to some guards before going into a private room.

Itona; there he goes, good thing we got these black suits from the changing room. Now we can blend in.

Tom; let's go.

Then Tom opened the door to Riomen's room, while Itona just followed for support. 

Riomen; what do you two want?

Tom; your head.

Riomen; *smile* I see how it is now, normally I would raise the alarm but unfortunately for you two, I'll be taking care of this myself.

Riomen was an elite martial artist who could kill a man in at least 200 ways, he was known for shaping rocks with his bare hands and breaking boulders during his free time, he was an absolute beast. And then, in a fraction of a second, he attempted to strike Tom with all his might however, Tom seemed to have teleported behind him. After two seconds had passed, Riomen collapsed as he blead profusely on the floor.
