Chapter 31

In a dimly lit house, on an armchair sat Jeremy Wilson and opposite him sat David Wilson, his uncle.

Jerry; you know what I want?

Dave; is this about that attack recently?

Jerry; It's not. This is about everything. I Want the truth.

David; alright then, several years ago, my grandfather, Sai, was suspected of mass murder, he was then executed, my father, who was 30 back then swore that he would prove that he was framed, but it wouldn't be easy, through the years that followed, our whole family was discriminated against thinking we were all somewhat involved in what happened. After over a decade of hate, my father was then killed in cold blood, stabbed with several blades to the front, I was the only one to witness it, as I hid in the room closet. I was petrified for over an hour in that closet, I was only 8 years old at the time. Then Sora came through the door and looked at our father's corpse, a normal person reaction would be one off horror or grief, but he had neither, his face was completely plain, like nothing happened. He stood there looking at his corpse then minutes before going to the closet to bring me out, he then asked me to explain everything from the closet, and I did.

2 days later, we had him buried our mother went through a trauma so bad that it haunted her till her death. It was only the three of us at the funeral, we stood in front of the grave stone as the rain beat us, like nature itself was rubbing salt in our wounds. Sammy and I held each other as we cried while Sora looked directly at his grave, he tried to remain stone face and UN-shaken, but couldn't hold back, and I saw tears roll down his face. After the funeral, he came to the both of us and told us that this was what our father had been training him for. That's why he tried to stay strong, he then said, he would protect us no matter what, we then made a decision, no matter what happened, we would always be together, and nothing would tear us apart. He then wore our father's silver crucifix chain around his neck. Ever since that day, he said he has been having visions in his sleep, at first it sounded just crazy but then the unbelievable happened, they started coming true, one by one. Then, decades later, I got a call from him saying, "I've seen my end". He then began writing everything he experienced in great detail, at least, what he could understand. He also told us about it endlessly, it was almost like he had finally gone insane, but then one day, on the day you were trapped in the stone…

Sora: so it's finally happened… 

Dave: I'm so sorry brother, if only I had known that…

Sora; Hey, it's all right David, none of this is your fault. Let's just pray nothing else happens.

Dave; Same here brother, same here. But still…

Sora; I know, I know, the truth is I've prayed all of this would simply be a bad dream, several times in fact. I never expected it to happen this soon, and of all people, my own son.

Dave; …

Sora; David, would you please watch over them for me when I'm gone.

David, slamming his hand on the wall; NO! THIS CAN'T BE! YOU CAN'T DIE, YOU CAN'T!

Sora; we can't ignore the possibility of the end result.

Dave; IT CAN'T END LIKE THIS…

Sora; I said we'd be together didn't I? I guess fate had other plans for me, but still no matter what happens, whether I die by fate's hand or not, know this, I will always love you, brother.

Jerry; wait, so the end result of all of this is dad's death?

David; it is.

Jerry; W.T.H.! Is there anything we can do about it?

David; I don't know, everything we've tried has only serve to bring about more and more of Sora's visions. We've tried to change the outcome several times, but each time it only changed his death, and made it more and more painful. So at that moment we just gave up.

Jerry; no, no way, this can't be. Shit, THIS IS BULLSHIT!

Jerry; hello?

Lara; we have an update on your father, you're not going to like it though.

Jerry; what is it?

Lara; we have reason to believe that he's working with the speedsters.

Jerry then received a news notification on his phone;

Breaking news, during an ongoing investigation, we have found footage of a man seeming to be making some kind of deal with a man we believe to be of the terrorists, this man is believed to be Wane Wilson, a famous real estate developer and former headmaster of MB Academy in Heiwa. More details will be revealed as the story develops.

Jerry to David; did you know this was going to happen as well?

David; I didn't.

Jerry; I see. Alright, I'll trust you.

Jerry; Tom trusts you both right? That alone was almost enough to convince me. Now then,

Jerry then removed the ring from his pocket and wore it on his finger.

David; have you finally decided?

Jerry; I did, a while ago.

Jerry; thanks uncle.

Jerry then put on a helmet and Climbed the electric bike he used to come to the house.

David; That's a nice car by the way.

Jerry; It's a prototype, they allowed me test it.
