It's Too Late

Leng Wushuang had a long dream.

In her dream, she returned to her childhood, living happily with her parents and siblings until one day, a group of ruthless gangsters broke into their home, slaughtering her loved ones.

Leng Wushuang, who was hiding in a water tank, shivered in fear. Her elder brother signaled her to remain silent and, decisively, covered the tank with a lid, saving her life. In the dream, she could hear the leader of the bandits laughing maniacally as he shouted his name: Duan Changhong.

The dream then shifted, and she found herself with a group of young people locked in a secret place, undergoing various inhumane training. The sole purpose of this training was to teach them how to efficiently take another person's life.

Through days of training, her heart gradually grew cold, and apart from the hatred buried deep within, she seemed unable to feel any other emotions.
