After saving one world from a Demon God and earning the trust and devotion of a perverted goddess, Sol is rewarded with all his powers intact and sent back home with the goddess accompanying him as his personal slave. 
 
That was supposed to be the end, the Demon God was supposed to be his last great trial. However, they are both summoned once again to an even more doomed world, almost immediately after returning to Sol's. 

This time around, Sol refuses his role as hero.

Unable to find rest, he turns his wrath to the pantheon of gods in a spiteful quest to become the strongest being in existence, followed by his slave who took his place as hero.

"That's... not possible though," Dina shook her head. "I made an oath- a promise to Ikaris, I am her right hand, I have to fight, and all of my mana has been converted to Calamity mana, it's impossible for me to not use it."

"Then find a way to overcome your problem and stop fretting about it." Renia stared at her seriously. "I do not think it necessary to warn you of the enemy we are going to face," She stood. "I have watched you for years now overcome trial after trial, foe after foe, this is just a minor setback in your path, do not think to divert your course for the sake of this one obstacle."

Renia rested her hand on Dina's shoulder, staring at her with a somber expression. "Do not waver, stand proud as the goddess of Calamity and stampede across this hurdle, crush it completely."
