CHAPTER 3:
Stories, creating pictures out of words, you tell it and attracts people, curious for the interest. What does make a good story? I ask that to my teacher was, this very thing she said to me a journalist, "A good story, makes a person driven for its answer, satisfy their curiosity."
Stories my sole passion as a living person, creating words from experience I heard, saw, and what I have sought. This passion has driven me to extent of seeking deeper, in return receiving praises, fame, and a gold around my neck.
Maria is my name, I'm a journalist, I tell stories, people have listened, adored my words, this time, it will be different.
A new story came to me, worth of gold to seek, the case of the missing folks from White Oak, the world will yet to know it's beginning and end; like a sweet candy to a child, it's story piqued my interest.
The Interest, what is it? For the first time, in my whole career, this will be the time I won't seek for them to see, but rather to seek for me to see. For the first time I will venture to the true unknown, the mystery of something will yet to be explained, the unknown of the unknown.
A story different from before, this time the cause is a fiction people told, not wars, not story about the poor, this time, the cause, I myself do not know, and that what makes it interesting, this time, I myself asked.
My journey will begin to White Oak, I already prepared my camera, money, clothes, everything there is to need for the story. We will start at the very beginning, to question those who saw, and to someone who seek it's answer, and someone I will yet to know, A man named Detective Jacobs.
