CHAPTER 3: WAKING UP

Leo shot out like a ferocious beast toward the golden zombie.

The golden zombie watched Leo with a mischievous smile. The five silver zombies behind him move attacking the raging Leo.

Leo stopped on his track staring at the five silver zombies warily because these five are more stronger then the six he just slew.

The first silver zombies whose skin glow with an eerie light stood at the middle, observing Leo with a tide of his head

looking at the human in front of him with interest.

''GROWL''

He let out a low growl, The four silver zombies behind him charged at Leo. Leo eyes flash with killing intent. His aura shook and a bright mist emanate from his body, his A-Class sword glow with a bright light.

"You guys are getting in my nerves!!" Leo roar and charge toward the four silver zombies facing them head on.

These five silver zombies have the strength of half heavenly realm fighter each, only one was already deadly now Leo was facing four which putted him in a passive situation, the silver zombies pushed him to a state of only defense with no opportunity to attack.

The first silver zombies have a look of amusement in his snow eyes watching Leo as he tries to defend with all his might.

What happened next shocked him and the other four silver zombies.

After getting attack by the four silver zombies, Leo jumped back putting distance between him and his attackers. Leo put his hand into his pocket and brought out one gold spirit stone, under the shock gaze of the five silver zombies he swallowed it.

''Growls''

The first silver zombie let out a low growl, like saying, "finish this human quickly"

Hearing the low growl from their leader they all charged at Leo with endless killing intent But was a bit slow, gotten close to Leo an unstoppable wave of Aura burst out from his body throwing the four silver zombies meters away.

The first silver zombie looked at Leo in shock, feeling a threat from this human.

Leo looked at himself a little surprise seeing the golden aura around him, for just eating a Gold spirit stone it increases his realm to the half heavenly stage. He grinned at the silver zombies and charged with fierce momentum.

The first silver zombie face turned serious and charged at Leo with his deadly claws planning to tear this human to pieces.

Zombies are mindless creatures but when evolve to a certain stage they developed the sense of thinking like a human. This zombie felt a threat from Leo, and he planned to neutralized this threat.

The two clashed and engage in a deadly battle, luckily for Leo the other four silver zombies are till in a daze from the force of his aura.

These should have been the greatest opportunity to kill these zombies, but Leo was busy fighting with the first silver zombie to focus on them.

'Surprisingly, this guy is stronger than the other four'

''Bang!!''

With a bang, both Leo and the silver zombie flew out in different directions, it turned out they strike each other With a deadly blow.

Leo maneuver his body and landed on his feet throwing up a mouthful of blood with a big five claws mark on his chest, his healing skill kick in.

The silver zombie was in more terrifying state. His right hand was cut off by Leo slash.

To the shock of Leo, the hand grew back within seconds.

The zombie stared at Leo with a taunting look.

To make things worse the other four silver zombies stood up and stood behind the first silver zombie.

The four then charged at Leo again but want happened next stunned them all.

A spear made entirely of rock shot out from a distance piercing the body of the silver zombie closest to Leo.

Out of nowhere Kong appeared beside Leo staring at the silver zombies with disdain. The silver zombie pierced by Kong spear stood up, gripped the spear and pulled it out from his body, its face remained unchanged.

Leo and Kong frowned because even a black zombies will have a slight change of expression but these five silver zombies are different, they are stronger and more ruthless than the black zombies.

"Let face them together with both of us our surviving rate will increase" Kong said with a solemn expression.

Leo nodded, and the two charged at the four silver zombies, with Leo swordsmanship and skills and Kong strength and agility they fought the silver zombies putting the zombies in a disadvantage.

They could easily achieve these mostly because the first silver zombie stood still watching the battle.

Leo finally killed two of the silver zombies by removing their heads, the three zombies face turned ugly. With Leo increase in strength two silver zombies were nothing to him.

After he killed the 2 silver zombies, he turned around and charged at the first silver zombies...

This guy had given him a lot of headache. The zombies looked at Leo and moved.

Leo had already learned his lesson from their first encounter, never face this zombie head on.

As the distance between the two close, Leo raised his hand and shouted ''ILLUMINATE!"

A Bright light shone out from his palm stunting the silver zombie. With this opportunity Leo slashed with his sword.

The sliver zombie stood still before falling to ground with a "THUD" sound, his head rolling away.

Leo turned to Kong.

"Go leave these two to me!!." Kong shouted at him. Leo nodded and ran toward the golden zombie.

This guy just stood there watching everything as if he was watching a play.

Gotten to the golden zombie, Leo stared at it with endless killing intent. If look could kill, This zombie would be long dead.

"Impressive Leo, you fed my eyes with your incredible skills, you also surprise me for having a Gold spirit stone, you are not strong enough to kill my kind, [ that is the golden zombie ] so I wonder how you got one, well no need too talk to much I was ordered to destroy this base and everyone in it.'' The golden zombie said.

Out of everything the golden zombie just said only two caught Leo attention.

'He was ordered?, are they more of him? Does that means there is a more stronger zombie out there?' he was planning to ask more, but the golden zombie gave him no time to think and charged at him disappearing from Leo sight.

"What the hell...?"

Leo said looking around, The golden zombie was so fast that Leo in the half heavenly realm couldn't clearly see his figure.

Leo felt a Chill, like he was thrown in an ice cave.

With swift reflex he jumped to the right but was a bit slow, the golden zombie claw appeared with a devastating blow, giving him a deep and bloody wound on his left shoulder.

Leo face looked grim, he stood up slowly looking at the bloody wound on his left shoulder, tore off his shirt and tied the wound..., then turned to the golden zombie with disdain.

The golden zombie licked his claws containing Leo blood with a hint of pleasure in his eyes.

He was toying with leo, if he wants Leo dead, he would be with his creator now.

Leo stared at the zombie covered in both his and the zombies bloods, he tightly grasp his sword and attack the golden zombie with his fastest speed, Leo was so fast that he leaves afterimages. In the eyes of everyone Leo was like a speeding bullet moving with endless killing intent. But in the eyes of the golden zombie he was as slow as a snail.

Leo slash his sword downward toward the golden zombie, with full strength planning to end the monster with one deadly slash.

"Whoosh!!"

The sword landing with deadly momentum toward the golden zombie planning to cut the monstrosity to half.

To the horror of Leo the golden zombie caught the A-Class sword with his bare hand. He looked at Leo with a smirk and asked.

"You think you can kill me with this A trash sword?" With that said he broke the A-class sword as if it was a simple twig.

Before Leo could think of what to do next the golden zombie act first grabbing his throat raising him up with one hand. He smirks and said, "don't worry, I won't kill you easily, I want you to feel pain and despair. To know how it feels to loss your loved ones in front of you." The golden zombie said with a grin.

The zombie was unaware that Leo had watched his family died in front of him, with the rage and bloodlust he started killing any zombie he encountered.

To his luck or fate he was rescued by their leader when he was surrounded by ten red zombies.

The leader saved and brought him to this base.

Now this base was going to be destroyed by the same creatures that killed his family, and he's powerless to stop it. No one knew how much hatred he had for these creatures.

"Come, let watch the death of your friends" The golden zombie said dragging Leo to the front of the base.

Leo face turned to horror witnessing what is happening in front of him.
