CHAPTER 62: Unexpected Guest
It only took 10 minutes for half of the fighters to appear back, all trembling from head to toe as if they had seen the worst nightmares imaginable. And half of them were women all trembling like a cat in a cold freezer.

"What can be in there that could make someone faint out of fear?" Ricky asked staring at the vortex.

"How can we know if she's ok?" Mila asked.
"With this" Leo waved his right hand, and a Huge virtual screen appeared in front of the vortex showing the names of everyone inside with their kills.

"Hey guys look! Sam has reached 1,000 kills!" Jack who have been watching the virtual screen said out loud.

Leo nodded at the fighters and walked toward an off-road vehicle and drove away leaving the vortex on.

A beautiful lady with red shoulder-length hair, green eyes and beautiful seductive curves in a brown windbreaker coat and a black long pants said.
"Why don't you remove your coat for a while dear?"
"Oh aunty, this place is cold even though we're in summer season so can I please leave it on" The lady said gripping her coat tightly.

"Mom I am back" Leo's voice sounded at the entrance.
"Oh he's here" Carol said with a smile while the lady suddenly look flustered.
"What's it dear?" Carol asked feeling her change in temperament.
"Nothing aunty" the lady said, taking a Deep breath trying to calm her beating heart.
"Emily?" Leo was shocked when he saw the guest.
Emily and him have a long love story back in high school, they love each other with everything they got, and even planned to get married after settling down, but fate have a say in that. Before graduation Emily's father Who is also the governor of H-city, a neighboring city to A-city send people to get her. With their vast different in status Leo became helpless not knowing what to do, after some heartfelt goodbyes, he watched her leave. 1 year later he heard she was getting engaged, this almost broke him down, but a man got to move on, he didn't know what happened next, but the wedding was postponed to this year, August first.
"Leo..." Emily called out her voice like a whisper.

"What are you doing here?" He asked flatly.
If he was still the old Leo he would be moved with countless emotions, but he's not the old Leo anymore and second he has someone he loves, he doesn't know if she will love him back, but he promised to make her love him again.
"Ok... I'll go make tea for everyone" Carol said walking toward the kitchen leaving the two behind.
Emily looked at Leo's handsome face and said with a sad smile "you aren't the Same Leo I know, or are you?"
"That depend on how you see me, so tell me why are you here?" Leo asked.
Emily looked at Leo's eyes with countless emotions and said "Well I-I here to ask if what you said about doomsday is true, I know you won't lie to a friend..."
"Everything I said is the truth"
"Why are you acting this way, you are hurting me, or don't you like me anymore? Because I..." Emily paused, staring at her foot.
"Like you? Well I once did but not anymore, and congratulation In advance on your wedding" Leo said calmly.
Emily looked up at him in surprised. "You knew?"

"If that you told him all those years ago I would have been yours by now" Emily said with a bitter smile.

"Nothing, thank you for all those memories we shared, I'll be going now" Emily said slowly trying to hold back her tears.
Leo frowned, and was about to say something when Carol's voice sounded.
"What's it dear, did Leo say something harsh to you?" Carol said glaring at Leo while he just shrugged.
"No aunty, I just got something in my eyes, I will be going now." Emily said standing up.
"Wait... take this" Leo said handing her a red stone and added. "Be home before 10th of July"
"What is this?" Emily asked with a nod looking at the red stone on her palm.
"After doomsday, You can use that to communicate with me" Leo said calmly after using 10,000 Doom stones to buy the communication stone from the system. Now he had only 15,000 Doom stones.
Emily looked doubtful at the stone, but it came from Leo so she'll treasure it.
"Thanks."
"What about the tea?" Carol asked.
"Another time aunty, bye... greet uncle and Nora for me" with that she left and Carol turned to her son.
"What did you say to her?"
"Nothing mom, It's late I am going to rest in my room." Leo said walking upstairs.
