Chapter 3- The Three Girls That Still Avoding Me

I entered the room and saw my classmates having fun in their groups. I placed the food and the gift on the table, then scanned the room while walking to the right side to relax. I was exhausted.

A moment later, I reached my seat and collapsed into it, letting my body refresh for a second.

"Ahhhhh..."

After a minute, I sat up properly and observed my classmates, mentally rating their outfits.

"7.5, 8, 7, 8... Wow, 10/10. Not only does his outfit look amazing, but his face is handsome too."

I continued until my eyes landed on the last person: Maria Ferrer, the girl I admired the most in class. She wore a beautiful dress in the same color as Sofia and Ashley, complemented by a stunning necklace.

"Wow, 11 out of 10! Just kidding, haha."

I stopped looking around and focused on her as she chatted with our classmates. She really was beautiful—her white, silky skin, her lovely face, her smile, and her kind aura. She was perfect. But Maria struggled academically, even needing a tutor at home, despite being set to inherit her family's company after college.

As I watched her smile and talk from 20 meters away, she suddenly looked at me. I wanted to smile and greet her, but I feared coming across as a creep. So, I reverted to my usual pattern, awkwardly looking away to the left, hoping she wouldn't think I was staring at her.

Wait, would that make me look even more like a creep? I've done this so many times already that I wish I could just explain to her, "Hey, don't misunderstand; my eyes just wander." But that would only open up more awkward questions like, "Then why are you looking at me?" or "Do you like me?" Ugh, I need to stop this behavior.

I started overthinking and questioned myself, 'Am I actually a red flag guy, admiring three girls in the class? It's not like I like them; I just admire their personality and mentality, not to the point where I'm blind to reason...'

I looked to my right and gazed out the window at the beautiful scenery. Despite it being almost Christmas, the temperature was still hot. That would change in a few days.

I envied them.

Lost in my thoughts, the wind blew my hair, revealing my forehead and eyebrows. My face looked different without bangs. I blinked against the wind and tried to fix my hair, letting my bangs fall back into place. A minute later, with a blank expression, I noticed Jacob and Michael struggling to carry two boxes of mineral water each.

"Ugh," Michael groaned, and our classmates laughed at their struggle.

'What am I doing, spacing out and overthinking in the middle of the Christmas party?' I made a small smile and said, "These guys," smirking.

After a moment of relaxation, I started walking towards them. Halfway there, someone grabbed my shirt.

"Hey, can I talk to you alone after the Christmas party?" said one of my classmates, dressed beautifully.
