Special Bow

Collei's bow is one of a kind, and she treats it with the upmost care. But as the years went by, the bow was getting older, and the strings were slowly starting to rip. "You know, as much as I love my bow, I will admit that it's not what it used to be, I would like to repair someday" she said to Nahida. "Well, unfortunately you might have to give your bow another chance" said Nahida. "There have been some rabbits that have been eating our crops, so we need you to scare them off by shooting some arrows at them, don't kill them though, if Yaoyao were here, she wouldn't like that" she continued. "Alright then, hope my bow can handle this" And off she went. Collei's bow was working just fine, she shot a good four arrows, scaring most of the rabbits away. But there was one who wouldn't budge, no matter how many times Collei shot her arrows. "Come on, shoo, will ya, we need our crops to grow" she said. But the rabbit didn't care about what Collei said. The irritated Dendro then pulled the string back, but then all she heard was a loud crack, her bow snapped into two, that sound scared the impudent rabbit off. "No, my precious bow!" she cried. And she walked sadly away. "It's ok, Collei, we know how much you loved your bow, but sadly we don't have a replacement, so do you mind if you take this Polearm instead?" Nahida asked. "A Polearm, you say, I don't want to use a Polearm, I'm an expert at the bow and arrow, not standard Polearms" Collei said in agony. "Well, you really don't have a choice, it's either this or nothing" added Nahida. Collei just took a deep breath and took the Polearm. Next day, Klee came to get some vegetables, she saw that Collei wasn't looking as cheerful as she usually is. "Oh dear, Collei, what's up with you?" she asked. "My bow snapped into two yesterday, so now I have to use this disgusting Polearm, oh the shame of it!" she said. "Well, I know it's hard losing something of important value, but things like that just happen, you had the bow for a long time, what were you expecting?" continued Klee. "Well, yeah you're right about that, but that bow really meant a lot to me, you know, I can't wait until I get a new one just like it" she vented. "Poor ol' Collei" said Klee solemnly. "If only there was a way to cheer her up" Then she had a idea. "I think I'll have a word with Amber and Nahida tomorrow morning" she said before leaving. Next morning, Collei woke up still feeling depressed. "It's not the same anymore" she thought to herself. Then Amber came soon after to talk to Collei. "So Collei, Klee told me about what happened to your bow yesterday, so I decided to give you something that's better" said Amber while winking at Nahida. Collei's eyes widened. "Wait, you're giving me a brand new bow, oh thank you Amber, and tell Klee I said thanks too!" she said as she was hugging her new bow. "No problem, you Dendros do so much for us, so I think we should return the favor" she said. Now Collei happily does her jobs quite splendidly thanks to her new bow, Nahida and Baizhu were stunned. "How does Collei simply do it so easily?" asked Baizhu. "Leave her be, just be glad that she's back to her ol' cheerful self" assured Nahida.
