The Council's Last Condition
.........meanwhile in the alpha king’s castle........
"Your majesty" a guard went into the thrown room where the king and his council were busy having important discussions and he bowed.
"Yes, speak".........alpha king George
" sorry for the interruption my king, a messenger seeks your audience he says it's important" says the guard
"Then send him in" after a few minutes, a young looking man came in with the guard and bowed too after which, the guard was dismissed
"Yes, who are you and what news do you bring?".....says the king.
"Good day your majesty and council, I bring message from my alpha, alpha Jason we got news from one of our informants at the campus health center in the black dawns pack domain my pack. A girl has been spotted with the mark" the messenger said
There was look of surprise in the faces of my councilmen as well as mine and there was some murmuring in the court which went silent when I started to speak.
"You are sure it's the very same mark?"
"Yes your majesty, my alpha was informed when a female student was brought in the center because she suddenly fainted while playing baseball in the campus gym. When she was being examined after she woke up, she requested for a change of clothes and while helping her to change the mark was spotted by the nurse which happens to be our informant"......
As the messenger narrates, the entire court was completely silent and the council listened with apt attention because this was what they had been searching and hoping for and the news they have been waiting for, for years now.

" she immediately called my alpha's office to pass the information across after which, she was given explicit information by our alpha to make sure she didn't leave so he can confirm the mark himself. The following morning my alpha went to the campus health center where the girl had been put to deep sleep by the nurse using an anesthesia and my alpha was able to confirm the mark on her back by her top right shoulder, this mark" he passed a photograph to the king, who looked at the picture with a smile on his face
"Along with that picture is a document containing more information about the girl. My alpha made a report, the girl is the daughter of our previous alpha's beta on that report are all the information about her background everything is indicated in that document your majesty. My alpha also sends his apologies for not delivering this important info in person as his Luna just put to bed a set of twin pups" the messenger finishes his report and bowed
"Your alpha and his pack has done really well, in fact they have brought me the greatest news I could wish for. I really am grateful I have no words. You said his Luna just put to bed right extend my utmost thanks and congratulations to him" the king said joyfully and then he called for one of his guards and his treasury official
" get me those amulet that has the royal pass inscribed on them immediately" he said
After some time, the official returned with the guard carrying a small chest which the king collected and examined after which he passed it to the messenger
"My gift to the twins, tell your alpha to expect a visit from us soon and as for you I know you must be tired after your travels take rest in one of my guest wings and you may leave when you please. This cheque" .........the king gave the messenger a cheque.......... "is for your troubles"
"Thank you for your generosity your majesty" the messenger said gleefully
and left being escorted by a guard.

"This is the best news that I didn't have hope that we would still get at this time or anytime any more"
"Yes your majesty it is great news indeed, who would have thought the prince would be as lucky to get a chance with his predestined mate? says council Geoffrey
"Agreed, we were already vying for a chosen" council Samuel said
Councilmen Richard, Gerald and the historian Jefferson nodded in agreement.
"Now all we have to do is wait for my son Brian to finish which would be at the end of the year and come back. So by early next year he should be done with both internship, school and training and I would be passing down to the next generation finally"
"Congratulations your majesty your plans fell through" said all the councilmen and some of the high officials who were in the meeting with the king at the moment.

Brian........I half opened my eyes to look that her to see her twirling one of her fingers in my hair while she lies one my chest. After our last night's exercise I was kinda tired. Did I tell you that Brittany was a werewolf too? Yea she is and from a good background too from one of the high council not my father's close circle though but still high and an alpha's daughter too and I have known her for quite sometime now from childhood I suppose so, I guess that's why she believes she has a place or right to me, as she is the only one I have ever spent all night with at her place though, definitely not my penthouse that's my private den. Well honestly speaking if I had to pick a companion I guess she would be a good pick as she's a good time in the sack, looks good and she's a Were so none of that explanation crap to an outsider and she understands me, knows my boundaries, my likes and dislikes and most importantly she knows I don't do love and am not a one woman kinda man although she has been trying to hoard me for some time now she knows I take orders from no one and I can't be controlled . My point being she knows all these and still doesn't mind it making her easy to control and as it's a pre requisite to coronation to have a chosen mate she's a good candidate for my status. Although, other girls stay away when she's around because of her looks and some are just scared of her a natural thing that comes with being our kind but, my friends say she's a social climbers and a typical bitch but I don't mind as she's good at what i need her for even though she sometimes seem all those things but most girls are anyway

"Yea well that doesn't change anything because I don't necessarily have to be with her as I can choose not to" I shrugged
"Baby I know, I mean I know you want me and we understand each other so obviously you wouldn't pick some nobody over me............
she smiled and hugged me pressing her breast against my bare chest. My wolf on the other hand didn't like that comment and he was grumbling for me to defend our mate but I just ignored him cause I didn't see anything wrong with what she said and I wouldn't be defending someone I don't even know if they exist and even if they did, I already said I was not going to be controlled by anyone.
......... but I would feel really better if I met them in person and got to know them".... she said straddling me and rocking against my member making me ready for another round while she was layering kisses from my face down to my chest.....

Addressing the entire court which includes representatives from each pack around the globes be it alphas or messengers who would pass the information to the respective packs they represented because the meeting was called on short notice so all the true leaders and representatives could not be present. Others included all the council members high, middle and lower ranked
"Councilmen it has come to my notice that my son's mate has been found" cheers and murmurings of congratulations where heard in the palace court

.....king George ........ "from the news we have gathered it seems that she is the daughter of a beta living among the humans and was previously unaware of our existence"..........sounds of shock was heard as to how this was possible but it ended as soon as the king continued his speech

I have gathered u all here today to disclose this news to you and as you all are aware, my pass down ceremony draws near and your prince would soon be back to take over completely albeit a few months from now".........cheers erupted again at the news of the great ceremony

"another reason I called us is to appoint someone to go in place of the council to bring my son's mate back to the castle although, the verdict still remain for the prince to decide for himself we have still concluded to bring her here, for proper training and more exposure to our kind. And after much deliberation, we have decided to send head councilman Geoffrey and councilman Samuel to go to the said pack with its representative to bring the news to the girl and her family as well as bring her here to us".....there were cheers, claps and sounds of approval in the court.
After the court was dismissed..............
Queen Sabrina ......... "I am so glad that we could get Brian's mate before his coronation, now everything would be perfect and he would no longer go philandering about with different women"
King George.... "Honey how are you sure things would be different I don't want you getting your hopes up. you know our son and how he feels about having a mate he thinks it's a bind and some sort of inconvenience"
Humph Sabrina scoffed... "I wonder where he got that attitude from" she said eyeing her husband who looked at her innocently before walking over to her to bring her into his embrace

the king chuckled hugging her now "well I wouldn't have it any other way"
Sabrina breathed out after resting her head on her husband's chest "I just hope our son doesn't miss out on the opportunity to experience something that special looking at that picture of his mate I can see that she would be good for him if only he would allow"
"and you can tell that just from photos?" The king asked with a raised eyebrow
"Call it a woman's intuition" Sabrina said. The king just shrugged
"well am not one to argue with your intuitions I would speak to our son on the matter"
"No I don't think we should tell him about his mate as of yet"
"but you know he would find out eventually even if it's not from us, news travel fast you know?"
"yes i know I just want him to be here in person when you talk to him about it and he would be coming this weekend for thanksgiving"

"hahaha let's go to bed my king" he kissed her forehead and they went to bed.
