"I can train you, but I insist on standing by your side, it's too dangerous." Xiu Yan said softly.
Ji Nuan turned around with a mischievous grin, tilting her head up to look at him, "Of course, how could we ever do it without you?"
He patted her head, "Alright, go get something to eat. We'll set off for the tribe in the afternoon."
Ji Nuan nodded, her small delicate hand clasping Xiu Yan's large ones, "Let's go, how could I turn down some of your roasted meat?"
"Xiu Yan, what's with all these Stinger Bugs you're getting? Is this some sort of new food?" Ya Li gazed at Xiu Yan emerging from the tent, pointing towards the bug nests and insect corpses packed in three baskets, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
"What do you think?" Xiu Yan replied nonchalantly.
Ya Li let out a gleeful chuckle, "Definitely a 'yes then'. These bugs look sizeable, maybe they even taste good when stir-fried."
