Chapter 843: It's Either Her Death or Mine

Dubi sat quietly in the cave, holding an old piece of beast skin, his dark eyes seeming as if they could drip water.

Dubi had been sitting there all night, not speaking, not sleeping, just sitting sullenly.

He hadn't eaten lunch either, and a piece of meat that Otto had brought back was still at the entrance of the cave.

After a while, just when Otto thought that Dubi was going to continue sitting, a large hand reached out from the cave and took the meat at the entrance.

Soon after, the sounds of chewing could be heard.

The footsteps of 'tap tap' followed, Otto stood up and looked toward the entrance of the cave to see Dubi, looking somewhat haggard, walking out.

His voice was low and hoarse, "You go back, don't follow me."

"Dubi... you!" Otto saw the determination in his good friend's eyes, he knew what Dubi was about to do, and his heart suddenly felt as if countless gazelles were stampeding through, utterly chaotic.
