Chapter 6:Bad Time for the Villains
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
''Should be rotting in a cell…''
The students were taken aback by Izuku's statement and how he said it didn't lessen their shock. The eerily calm and sureness of his words, made it all the more impactful.
''W-Woah, didn't think I'd ever hear Midoriya say stuff like that.'' Sero gulped while the others could only nod, still stunned and admittedly, a little fearful while staying by their pros' side in case of any sneak attack or accidentally getting caught in the crossfire of the impending battle.
From where she was standing, Ochako could only look on in frustration as her friend stood in defiance against seemingly impossible odds without fear. Either Izuku somehow defeats the villains or holds out long enough for Iida to arrive with reinforcements. ''Please hurry Iida!'' She clenched fists and unbeknownst to her, her classmates were having similar thoughts about the standoff.
But everyone's worries were nothing compared to the pink teen standing next to Ochako.
Mina was scared out of her mind, she knew that Izuku was incredibly strong. But after hearing Tomura say that Nomu was created to specifically fight All Might of all people. She knew that there was only so much that he could do against such a monster.
She didn't know why, but the thought of Izuku being hurt filled her with more unease than anything. But it wasn't like they were beyond being friends.
So why did it hurt so much?
Blinking back in focus, Mina turned her attention to the intense stare down below as it looked like they were going to fight soon. ''Izuku…''
USJ GROUNDS-PLAZA
Snapping out of his shock, Tomura's eyes narrowed at the teen. Sure, that statement was something else, but he still had Nomu. The creature was created to rival All Might so there wasn't anything to worry about.
In the meantime, Izuku was keeping an eye on the creature standing next to its master. And based on his blank eyes, it was clear that the creature didn't have a will of his own. "So, it's like a messed-up puppet, noted." He made sure to keep his expression even at the thought.
This led to the conclusion that Nomu wouldn't make a move without being given an order from Shigaraki. ''Hmm, I wonder what else he can do?'' He remembered the damage done to Aizawa. Granted he didn't see it for himself, but he can conclude that Nomu has super strength.
But something in his gut told him that Nomu had more tricks than simple strength.
''Better test it out.'' Izuku brought his right hand out of his pocket, the action making Tomura go on high alert.
Charging 5%, he waved his hand forward, sending six bones flying toward the behemoth.
The bones hit their marks, creating small shock waves with each hit. But to Izuku's surprise, Nomu just stood in place as the bones hit, bouncing off after making contact.
After snapping out of his surprise, Tomura laughed. ''Nomu has shock absorption, your bones won't do anything against him." He became smug. "The best thing you can do is gouge out his flesh.'' He suggested mockingly, concluding that the earlier tension was misplaced.
''Thanks for the info facepalm.'' Izuku held back a smirk as he began formulating a plan. ''No punching or blunt stuff. Just Swords, Spears, and Blasters.'' His eyes hardened as a plan began to take shape.
''Nomu.'' Tomura called out, making the beast turn to him. ''Kill him.'' He ordered in a dismissive and venomous tone causing the beast to let out a mighty roar before he charged towards Izuku who had a big grin on his face, making Tomura confused.
As the beast got closer, Izuku made his move. Removing both hands from his pockets, his eyes flared and sparks emanated from his form as he charged a great amount of OFA. And with a mighty heave, he pushed his hands forward.
A green glow covered Nomu's legs, holding them in place for a moment before being freed, causing him to trip. Falling face-first on the ground and tumbling a bit. The sight would have been comical if it were not for the fact that he was still a grave threat to everyone.
With a growl, he was about to stand until pointed bones sprouted from the ground. Impaling the creature through his chest, wrists, and ankles. The action made Izuku a bit sick, but knowing that Nomu didn't have a will of his own, lessened the guilt somewhat.
With Nomu, he grew annoyed at the injuries before forcing himself free, surprisingly unaffected by the normally grievous wounds.
But just as he was about to be free, he was pushed into the blades again by two medium blasters that had appeared above him, before ramming into the beast while biting into his shoulders with intense growls.
Nomu growled back as he shockingly pushed against them and tried to free himself again before being stabbed by a barrage of pointed bones on his back and repeatedly blasted by five more medium blasters that had appeared above him.
With the beast effectively pinned, Izuku snapped his fingers, spawning four more medium blasters that quickly hovered their way to the downed Nomu and formed an X formation before blasting the behemoth with the other blasters.
*ZWOOOSHH*
With the barrage continuing, they changed their position and formed a cross formation before firing again.
*ZWOOOSHH*
Finally, they split into two groups and went to either side of the Nomu to unleash one more blast.
*ZWOOOSHH*
By the end of the assault, the Nomu was burnt and unresponsive. The bones that impaled him and the blasters that attacked him were long gone, leaving only its smoking, burnt, and bleeding body for everyone to see.

On the stairs, his classmates gaped at the scene while Mineta promptly fainted after a few seconds.
''What…just…happened…?'' With wide eyes, Tomura stared at the fallen creation. "He…beat him?" Years of planning and experimentation had gone into creating Nomu.
The villain felt his will knocked out of him as he slumped and looked down with dead eyes. Meticulous planning, research, training, and heavy monitoring had produced the perfect creature to rid the world of All Might. Every simulation and testing resulted in the end of the Symbol of Peace.
With each result his confidence grew, knowing that he had what he needed to finally be rid of that smiling meathead from this world.
It would have been perfect…if not for the unknown brat who thwarted it all.
And with that thought, Tomura twitched. Life returned to his eyes as an unholy rage began to blossom within him, causing him to grit his teeth and his fingers to shake as the reality of the situation set in.
There was a long deafening silence until Izuku spoke. ''Huh.'' He casually huffed. ''Always wondered why people never use their strongest attack first.'' He shrugged with a tired grin as sweat dripped down his form.
Like a switch, this made Tomura go ballistic as he began furiously scratching his neck. ''No!'' He snarled before glaring at the teen who now wore a neutral look. "This wasn't supposed to happen!" His scratching sped up, making Izuku cringe internally. "I lost my trump card against the final boss because of you!" Heavy killing intent emanated from the villain, causing the young hero to brace himself. "YOU CHEATED!" He yelled before running.
Izuku could have sworn that the villain had a speed quirk since he was already in front of him and went for a grab at his neck. His instincts screamed at him to avoid his touch at all costs so he teleported behind the enraged attacker to form a bone club and swing at the villain.
Unfortunately, Tomura reacted quickly and caught the weapon on his left palm before lowering it enough to glare hatefully at the teen who was surprised by the slim villain's strength. ''I'll Kill You…'' He said in a low voice as the bone started decaying.
Izuku's eyes widened before he quickly released his weapon and sprouted a bone barrier, separating the two. And for good measure, he used his psychokinesis to push Shigaraki further back until he ended up next to the unconscious Kurogiri.
Once he got his bearings, Tomura growled. ''You can't dodge forever, you'll slip up, and when you do…'' He pointed towards the remains of the bone club.
''So that's what happened to Aizawa's arm…'' Izuku grimly mused, he had a feeling that Nomu hadn't caused the damage considering that it felt too different to be inflicted by someone with super strength. He then went into his fighting stance as he made another bone club. ''Give it your best shot, facepalm.'' He challenged with a dangerous grin as he pointed his weapon with the glow in his eyes growing.
Tomura felt his hate for him grow before letting out a humorless chuckle. ''Oh, a comedian, are we?'' He went into a running stance while giving off an aura of bloodlust. ''We'll see who's laughing when I turn you into du-''
''Grraughh…''
[BNHA OST - ''Uncontrollable Evil'' - Plays]
Turning their heads to the sound, they saw Nomu slowly stand up, his earlier injuries healing.
Izuku could only stare with wide eyes as he charged 5% through his body again while Tomura blinked a few times before laughing maniacally. ''I can't believe I forgot about that.'' He mentally berated himself as he made his way beside the newly formed Nomu.
Izuku tensely eyed the two as he got into his stance again, shock on his features. ''I thought his quirk was shock absorption!?'' His expression strained a bit as he made two medium blasters.
The sight didn't faze Shigaraki as he folded his hands. ''I didn't say that was all he had.'' He gestured to Nomu. ''He also has super regeneration." He chuckled inwardly despite forgetting this detail due to his panic. "Nomu has been modified to take All Might at 100% after all.'' He wore a sadistic smile.
Izuku grimaced at the information. ''If All Might fights him with the way he is now then…'' He didn't even want to finish that thought. If the Symbol of Peace was killed off, the villains could use the hysteria and cause as much damage as they want. "I need to push through my fatigue." His eyes glowed in determination as the blasters charged their shots with growls
Tomura stared for a moment before calmly looking at the monster. ''Go, Nomu.'' He lazily commanded.
In a blur, the monster was already in front of Izuku and destroyed one of the blasters. ''So Fast!'' He jumped away as the remaining blaster fired and engulfed the fist that was about to hit him.
But the moment didn't last as Nomu powered through despite his burned arm and delivered a quick punch with his other hand, obliterating the blaster and charging at the young hero as his arm healed.
As the monster leaped with his fists ready, Izuku teleported as Nomu smashed his fists on the ground. The young hero then reappeared above the monster before concentrating his power on his right hand and pushing it forward, pushing the monster to the ground, and creating a crater.
But to his horror, Nomu remained on his feet despite the psychokinesis pushing him, further damaging the ground as he sank with each push. "Did they give this guy a steroid quirk too!?" Izuku sparked as he grunted and added more power, but it proved to only slow the monster, not stop it from moving.
While his classmates tried to cheer him on, Tomura watched his attempts in amusement before growing bored. "As entertaining as this whole thing is, I think it's time to end it." Izuku ignored him and doubled his efforts. "Nomu, END IT."
Upon hearing the command, Nomu growled before forcing himself to cross his arms, his muscles bulging with added power while fighting against the young hero's quirk. When his arms were close enough, there was a beat before he let out a mighty roar and spread his arms, breaking free from the psychokinesis while at the same time, stunning Izuku from the sudden action.
"Damn!" Izuku hissed from the forced release. "I won't let you-!" He was about to trap Nomu again until a shadow loomed over him, making him pale and glance over his shoulder to see that the monster had jumped and was now positioned behind the teen with his fists ready.
With a roar, Nomu brought his fists down while Izuku refocused and hastily spawned two top halves of medium blasters to act as shields while putting his arms up to protect himself further.
Upon impact, the shields were destroyed as Nomu's fists punched through them and made contact with Izuku's arms. And although the momentum of the fists was slightly affected, the impact was still strong enough to send the young hero crashing down, making a small crater in the process.
As the area rumbled, Tomura laughed at the sight. ''All bark with no bite.'' He felt immense satisfaction. And with the nuisance gone, there was only one thing left to do.
[Song stops]
After seeing that there was no movement coming from the crater, Tomura made his move. ''Nomu.'' After landing, the beast turned his head towards the hand villain. ''Deal with the rest.'' He ordered with pure malice.
Nomu growled in compliance before marching toward the frightened students.
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
''DEKU NO!'' Ochako cried out as she tried to run to her fallen friend.
Only to be stopped when Sato grabbed both of her arms and shook his head. ''URARAKA DON'T DO IT!'' He begged as he gripped her tighter when her struggles grew.
''G-Guys?'' Sero called out in a shaky voice. ''I-I t-think we h-have a b-bigger problem.'' He pointed over the edge of the stairs while his classmates saw the terrifying sight of Nomu marching toward them.
They instinctively formed a protective stance to defend the fallen teachers, despite fear gripping their hearts.
During the battle, they couldn't help but feel helpless as one of their own faced impossible odds by himself. They were then left speechless and amazed as Nomu was seemingly defeated with relative ease.
But as the creature healed and stood again, their hopes were left in a fragile state. And when Izuku fought him again, they could feel how dire the situation was based on the one-sided fight.
And when their friend was smashed into the crater, it was as if a light within them had extinguished. And was replaced by a strong sense of dread and despair.
But despite the odds against them, here they stood against the behemoth. A hero must never give in, no matter the odds.
Mina however was a different story as she stood next to Ochako.
Izuku, who risked his life to protect everyone, ended up being killed. Even though he was the one who was crushed, she was the one that felt more defeated.
And with tears flowing, Mina gathered all the courage she could muster before crying out. ''IZUKU!''
Her voice of anguish echoed throughout the entire plaza.
IN THE CRATER
Lying in the center was Izuku's body, battered from the impact and motionless. From where he lay, he could hear Nomu walking away from him accompanied by Tomura's maniacal laughter.
His body was in so much pain that he couldn't muster the strength to move or even open his eyes.
His arms were no exception, though he could still feel them. Indicating that his arms were not lost.
He groaned as he tried and failed to move. ''Just one hit…I'm already...'' He clenched his jaw as sorrow gripped his heart. ''Mom…Temmie...All Might...Everyone…'' Was his last thought as he began losing consciousness while images and voices played in his mind.
*Ba-Bump*
Izuku laughed together with his mother while Temmie mewled as they enjoyed a group hug.
*Ba-Bump*
''They say the best heroes have one thing in common: 'Their bodies moved on their own, without a moment of hesitation'.''
''You, young Midoriya are no exception to this. I can say without a doubt, that you will be a great hero.''
*Ba-Bump*
''Friends?'' Yaoyorozu repeated after recovering from the shock.
''Well...'' Izuku rubbed the back of his head. ''From what I can tell, you're all good people so I'm sure we can be good friends." He smiled brightly at them.
*Ba-Bump*
Mina and Izuku talking together with smiles.
*Ba-Bump*
''IZUKU!''
There was a beat before Izuku's body twitched as his left eye slightly opened with a flickering shine.
''...''
''...''
''...''
''No.'' He began to stir. ''Not like this.'' He clenched his fists. "Not when everyone is still in danger." He concentrated on making his body move. "How could I possibly call myself a friend or hero if I fall now?"
He brushed off the pain, shame, and guilt for his failure and focused on his determination. ''To allow everyone's hopes, everyone's dreams. To be vanquished in an instant.'' He clenched his jaw and bared his teeth.
''I…'' His body began to spark. ''Won't let that happen!''Izuku growled in a low voice as his left eye fully opened with a flare.
USJ GROUNDS-PLAZA
''Your friend can't save you know.'' Tomura said in a sickeningly smug tone as he stood next to the unconscious Kurogiri. ''Destroy them!'' He commanded in insane fury, causing the beast to growl at the students, making them pale.
Nomu then marched at a faster pace before suddenly stopping in the middle of the stairs.
The scene shocked Tomura before he fumed. ''What are you waiting for!? KILL THEM NOMU!" But to his growing anger, the beast still did not move from his spot, confusing the students before becoming surprised when Nomu growled while violently shaking.
It soon became apparent that the behemoth was trying to fulfill his order, but was being stopped by something. And whatever it was, caused the ground below him to form cracks from his efforts to escape.
Like everyone else, Mina stared in confusion as Nomu was being held in place by seemingly nothing. But then upon closer inspection, she noticed something.
Nomu was covered in a faint glow, but that wasn't what she focused on. Rather, it was the color of the glow that caught her attention. ''Green?'' She mused aloud, making all her classmates turn to her in confusion, before looking at Nomu again with focused eyes.
After connecting the dots, their eyes widened as they turned to where the crater was.
It shouldn't be possible.
Tomura noticed the students looking at something and followed their gaze. Only for his eyes to widen as well.
Standing in front of the crater, was a battered Izuku with his left hand extended with an open palm as green sparks bounced around his form. His right arm appeared to be heavily damaged with blood dripping from it, but otherwise responsive as it remained on his side.
His face sported a few bruises with the right eye closed as a line of blood was running down the right side of his face from a cut on his head. His left eye, though, was wide open with an intense emerald glow.
His Hoodie and pants were a bit torn up with a bit of blood on them. His scarf and shoes however were dirtied but otherwise still in good condition but that wasn't the only thing they could see.
He wore a pained but daring grin.
As his shock wore off, Tomura began furiously scratching his neck. ''IMPOSSIBLE!'' He roared in disbelief before pointing to the teen. ''You should be dead!'' He spat with hate.
Izuku's grin widened. ''Heh. Well, can't exactly let that happen.'' His expression turned serious. "Especially when my friends are still in danger."
His eye then flared up as he charged 15% and with the added boost, he increased his grip on Nomu. However, even with the extra power, holding the behemoth proved harder still. If it weren't for his quirk, his bones would have crumbled from the amount of power and force that was being applied to it.
''If I keep holding him, I'll lose my arm.'' Izuku clenched his jaw as the beast continued to struggle. "Time to ease the pressure." Pointed bones spawned around the teen before shooting toward Nomu, stabbing his back but didn't deter the beast from struggling in the slightest. "Stubborn huh? All right then…" He narrowed his eye with a flash. "How about this?"
Nomu continued to struggle until his attention was focused on two medium blasters spawning in front of him with their lasers ready.
*ZWOOOSHH*
As expected, the creature endured the attack but was noticeably distracted, which was the opening Izuku needed. The latter let out a mighty roar as he swung his hand toward the Mountain Zone.
With the added force combined with the lasers, Nomu was flung toward Shigaraki who jumped away from the flying creature and the lasers. Watching in shock and disbelief as the monster crashed into a mountain, burying him in the process as the lasers stopped.
The hand villain then recollected himself before directing a murderous glare at Izuku who now stood between him and the stairs leading to his classmates. ''Nomu, come here!'' He commanded in frustration.
There was a rumble before Nomu erupted from the rubble with a roar and sped to stand beside his master, the earlier damage inflicted healed as he patiently waited for the next order.
How is this possible? Sensei told him that Nomu was made to withstand All Might. So how did this brat even survive up to this point? He should be a bloody stain by now! Or at least mere dust in his palms!
At that thought, Tomura's expression turned into one of outrage. ''Why don't you just die!'' His body shook with fury.
Izuku wasn't fazed by the rage and went into a fighting stance. ''Well.'' He made a bone sword and pointed it at the villains. ''Here's a better question.'' A defiant grin formed on his face. ''Do you wanna have a bad time?'' After idly checking if his right arm and hand can still move, he made another bone sword.
Tomura was taken aback by the sudden counter-question but immediately shrugged it off, he refused to show weakness. ''Nomu, don't hold back.'' He commanded with seriousness.
Nomu's muscles bulged as he readied himself for the showdown with a challenging roar, the sight causing the students to grimace with fear while the OFA user remained firm.
''Nomu.'' Surprisingly, Izuku was the one who called out to the beast, causing everyone to become curious as to what he had to say.
The beast didn't stop preparing himself, but growled, signifying that he at least acknowledged Izuku calling him. ''This may be a long shot but…'' He trailed off as the sparks around him increased in power. ''Would you be willing to end this peacefully?'' He questioned with seriousness as his eye shined brighter. Maybe there's a part of the creature that could be reasoned with?
Sadly, Nomu's preparation ended as he prepared to lunge with a deep growl, causing Izuku to sigh while Tomura scoffed at the naive question. ''Welp, I tried.'' He shrugged before his eye hardened in determination. "And, for the record." He got into his stance. "I don't take pleasure in doing this."
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
No one expected Izuku to be back on his feet so soon, some not expecting him to get back up at all. So, it's understandable that they couldn't even begin to process what they've witnessed.
''We need to do something!'' Mina exclaimed as she eyed the scene in alarm.
Ochako looked like she wanted to agree but shook her head. ''We can't.'' She looked down with a frown, making others look at her. "We're not strong enough and Nomu is too fast." It hurt to say, but they were outmatched.
''She's right, Izuku's the only one here who has the power to fight that thing.'' Tsuyu seconded in a sad tone. ''Everyone else with stronger quirks is still in the other zones.'' She added with the same tone as she focused on the scene. "The best thing we can do is protect the teachers and hope that he can hold out long enough for help to arrive."
And with that final statement, everyone's protests were silenced before focusing their attention on the plaza, hoping for Izuku to come out on top.
USJ GROUNDS-PLAZA
The REAL battle finally begins.
[Undertale OST - ''Megalovania'' - Plays]
''Go, Nomu'' Tomura commanded.
The beast roared as he rushed toward Izuku at high speeds. Surprisingly, the latter also rushed in to meet the clash.
Nomu raised his fist to smash the green hero, only for nothing to be there when he swung his arm. With a blur, Izuku appeared behind Nomu and slashed his back with his blades.
He then dodged a backhand from Nomu and appeared in front of him, swinging his blades across Nomu's chest before teleporting away to gain some distance to stomp his right foot, sending a wave of bones towards the beast.
Nomu jumped high in the air to avoid the attack while Izuku used the opening and raised both of his hands to cover the creature in a green glow before swiftly bringing his arms down with a yell, causing the creature to plummet to the ground.
*CRASH*
The impact left a massive crater, followed by a powerful shockwave that was felt by everyone.
Seeing room to breathe, Izuku powered down, giving his body a chance to recover a bit. ''He's relentless…'' He huffed as he despawned his blades before glancing at Shigaraki who was observing the whole fight.
Sensing movement, Izuku snapped back with a narrowed eye as he charged 15% and spawned two medium blasters to his sides.
Nomu roared as it jumped out of the crater and stood ready before running at the teen whose blasters were ready to fire.
With a flash of his eye, Izuku's blasters fired, scoring a direct hit on the beast's chest but to his chagrin, Nomu merely stopped for a moment before walking as the beams kept hitting him.
He then thrust his hands forward as he tried pushing the beast back with his psychokinesis while the blasters dealt damage to him. And at the same time, several bone spikes emerged and pierced Nomu's ankles.
The combination successfully stopped Nomu, but the teen knew it would just be a matter of time before the creature advanced again. And as to emphasize the point, the monster began forcing his feet free despite the damage being inflicted.
''His quirks are too much!'' Izuku grunted in frustration before his eye widened. ''Wait...'' He carefully eyed Nomu again, before something dawned on him. ''That's it!'' He charged 17% and gave one more push with his psychokinesis and blasters, catching the beast off-guard from the sudden power boost.
This also resulted in Nomu being torn free and launched across the plaza before crashing onto the partially sunk boat in the Flood Zone, completely wrecking the boat in the process as it further sank.
With the beast temporarily stopped, Izuku made his blasters disappear with a huff. "If my theory is correct, this could end the fight." He clenched his fists as a conflict went through him, a part of him thinking that the plan is too extreme for a hero to do. But another argued that it was a necessary thing to ensure everyone's safety.
''Hey, I told you he has super regeneration!'' Shigaraki pointed out in an angered tone.
Snapping out of his inner turmoil, Izuku went into his stance. ''Yeah? What about it?'' He said with an All Might-like grin that made Shigaraki's blood boil.
*RUMBLE*
Their attention was focused on the wreckage of the boat exploding as Nomu leaped out of it with a roar, causing a tremor that shook the complex and a large wave of water that caused the trapped villains to tumble in the water, much to their chagrin.
In the air, Nomu's trajectory didn't change, and prepared to use his fists to crush Izuku, leaving a strong gale behind him as he approached.
But despite the intimidating sight, the young hero decided to use this to his advantage. Just before impact, Izuku sparked and zipped away, leaving Nomu to bury his fists in the ground. "YOU IDIOT!" Tomura barked in rage as if he were playing a game.
With some distance and the monster stuck for a moment, Izuku's eye flashed as he shot one bone spike at the behemoth.
Nomu noticed and destroyed the ground as he tore one arm free before swiftly swatting away the projectile, making Shigaraki sneer at the sight. "You missed brat!" He mocked.
''Did I?'' Izuku grinned as he curled one of his fingers, causing the bone to make a curve, and soar through the air with increasing speeds before stabbing into the back of Nomu's brain, much to the shock of his classmates and Tomura's horror.
Nomu froze from the contact before gripping his head in agony. ''GRAAAHHH!'' The pain was so extreme that the shock allowed him to free his other hand and hold his head in pain, the most emotion he's shown in the entire encounter.
The sight sent guilt through Izuku but he bore with it. "Sorry." He whispered with a somber frown as he spawned a bone spear on his palm and took aim. "But neither of us are left with a choice." His right eye finally opened, showing the same determination as his form sparked. "Hopefully this'll make it painless." His expression steeled before throwing the spear at high speeds.
Nomu was about to let out one more painful howl before the spear stabbed his mouth and through the brain, leaving a hole as the bloodied weapon fell into the water connected to the Flood Zone.
The monster froze again as his blank eyes glazed over before his arms limply fell as he leaned back with a low growl, blood dripping from the wounds as his quirk didn't heal him as well this time.
And while brutal, his classmates knew that it was necessary since they surmised that the monster didn't have a conscious based on only doing things if commanded.
Back with Izuku, with his theory proven correct, he decided to finish the job and spawned a squadron of smaller blasters and sent them to the downed beast. Once close, the blasters encircled the creation and began to focus fire on it. Nomu remained unresponsive while being hit on all sides.
The OFA user then concentrated his power and thrust his hands forward, covering the monster in a green glow before lifting him a bit off the ground. And after repositioning him, he released him and stomped his left foot with sparks around him while despawning the weapons and blasters.
Before Nomu could fall on his back, a large bone pillar sprouted from the ground and smashed his back, raising him before stopping and launching the behemoth toward the ceiling. And just for good measure, a spiral of bone projectiles hit his back to boost his speed.
Tomura watched with wide eyes as Nomu crashed into the ceiling, creating a sizable dent, before falling once again. "It's like a bad dream…" He muttered with growing anger.
Looking back down, the villain saw that Izuku had positioned himself below Nomu as he fell, with two large blasters aiming up with intense eyes. ''This is gonna hurt...''He formed a blaster around his right arm and aimed. ''For the both of us.'' His glowing eyes narrowed as he began charging a large amount of OFA.
"NO!" Shigaraki saw his intentions and bolted towards the teen with hands ready to disintegrate him. "I won't let you have your way; you damn secret boss!" He roared as he increased his speed.
''MEGALO…'' Izuku muttered as the three blasters formed green energy spheres that increased in size as they charged while the sparks around him grew brighter.
Nomu continued falling like a ragdoll, unresponsive from both the brain damage and possessing no quirk that worked in the air.
His classmates subconsciously held their breaths from the immense energy being built up and seeing Tomura getting close.
Finally, though, Izuku felt he had gathered enough and widened his eyes with a flare. ''SMAAAASSSHHHH!'' He roared as he unleashed a massive blast toward the falling Nomu.
*ZWOOOOSSSHH*
The shockwave from the blast was strong enough to send Shigaraki flying back next to the unconscious Kurogiri, including the bodies of the villains that Aizawa had defeated.
Some of Izuku's classmates had to shield their eyes from the intense light while others watched in disbelief while stumbling a bit from the shockwave.
In the air, the beams combined into a bigger one before hitting Nomu's chest. Leaving him helpless as the massive beam carried him to the ceiling.
*CRASH*
Nomu easily tore through the ceiling and was sent to who knows where. While on the ground, Izuku huffed and powered down as his blasters despawned. His right arm was revealed to be burnt from the amount of energy used to fire the blaster.
After keeping himself steady, Izuku glanced at Shigaraki who was staring at the scene in disbelief as he numbly got to his feet. ''Heh.'' He chuckled tiredly as he fell on one knee. ''Get dunked on…you megalomaniac.'' He grinned as his eyes turned back to normal.

USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
Everyone was at a loss for words.
After a few moments to process what just happened, reality dawned on them that Izuku had won.
Against impossible odds, he had beaten Nomu, hard.
The silence was broken when Ochako spoke in clear disbelief. ''He… He won…'' She slowly said, still in shock from her best friend's sudden victory.
''HE WON!'' Mina yelled as she hugged the still shell-shocked Ochako.
''Now that's how you do it!'' Shouted Sato with a fist pump while others started cheering amongst themselves apart from Mineta who remained unconscious.
Tsuyu was about to join in when she noticed something odd. Izuku was still on one knee while staring at Tomura, the latter still processing what just happened.
USJ GROUNDS-PLAZA
In silence, Shigaraki just stared at Izuku who simply kneeled with a tired grin on his face. He tried to make sense of everything, but no matter what he thought, it all came to one conclusion.
The Anti-Symbol of Peace was defeated by a mere child.
Just the thought alone caused Tomura to snap to reality with gritted teeth in a mad fury. ''IMPOSSIBLE!'' He roared while he glared at the teen with rage. ''He was supposed to kill All Might! Not lose to a brat like you!'' He yelled in fury before charging at Izuku who suddenly became alarmed and tried to move.
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
The students' celebration ended when Tomura roared while charging toward Izuku. ''Why isn't he moving?!" Mina questioned, feeling her dread slowly rise.
''He told us that he ends up being exhausted if he overuses his quirk!'' Tsuyu explained before her eyes widened in terror, as did everyone else's before they all began screaming for Izuku to move but to no avail.
USJ GROUNDS-PLAZA
''I'm so boned!'' Izuku tried to make a weapon, only for the light in his eye to flicker as he winced. ''No good!'' He grunted before staring at the oncoming madman in alarm.
Fortunately, before Shigaraki could get any closer, a massive ice wall appeared, preventing him from reaching the young hero.
Following the trail, Izuku was met with a relieving sight. Standing there was none other than Shoto Todoroki with a trail of ice coming out of his foot. ''And here I thought you were here to kill All Might.'' The bi-colored teen pointed out in a cold tone before glancing at the massive hole in the ceiling. ''I assume that was the weapon.'' He then turned to Midoriya who was giving him a relieved grin. ''Did he do this?'' He nodded to the bone user.
*BOOM*
''Midoribro!''
Looking to his left he saw Bakugou land and Kirishima running toward him.
Upon getting close, Kirishima knelt next to Izuku, while Bakugou and Todoroki kept an eye out for Shigaraki. ''What happened to you?'' The hardening teen questioned as he eyed the damage Izuku had sustained with a grimace.
''Isn't it obvious?'' Bakugou cut in while looking for any sign of movement from the villain.
Kirishima glanced at him in confusion while Izuku looked curious. ''What is?''
''He kicked someone's ass.'' Bakugou smirked, causing Kirishima and Izuku to chuckle. The latter stopped as it hurt a bit to laugh.
''We can discuss this later, right now we have a villain to deal with.'' Todoroki chimed in as he stood ready next to the three.
With that statement, the four turned their attention to the ice wall in silent anticipation as did their classmates on the top of the stairs.
Everyone waited for anything until…
*CRACK*
Several cracks emerged from the center of the ice wall before it crumbled, revealing a very enraged Shigaraki standing with palms raised. ''No…'' He said in a low growl before he reached up and furiously scratched his neck again. ''NO! NO! NO! NO!" He shook his head as his scratching intensified. "This wasn't supposed to happen! Nomu was supposed to kill All Might!'' He roared in outrage as the ice wall fell apart, leaving him standing on a pile of ice.
Apart from Izuku, the three didn't understand what the villain was talking about. While they were in separate zones fighting grunts, they heard the commotion caused in the plaza, which brought them here now.
But after seeing the battlefield before them and the villain leader directing his hatred toward Izuku. One question comes to mind. ''What did we miss?'' The three looked between the two with curious looks.
Their thoughts were interrupted when Shigaraki spoke from the top of the destroyed ice wall. ''Oh well….'' He said in an unnervingly calm tone as he stopped scratching his neck. ''Guess I'll just have to settle with…" He directed a murderous look at Izuku. "Killing you instead.'' His fingers twitched, already looking forward to decaying the teen by the throat.
Tensing from the stare, Todoroki spoke. ''Midoriya.'' The bone user glanced at him. ''Can you move?'' He said while keeping his eyes trained on the villain.
Izuku attempted to stand only to go back into his original position with a huff. ''No, I used everything I got to beat their weapon.'' He said with an apologetic expression.
Kirishima shook his head and wore an encouraging smile. ''Don't worry, we'll keep you safe bro.'' He promised as he hardened his arms, Bakugou got into his stance while a cold mist emanated from Todoroki as he prepared to use his ice.
Izuku looked at them in awe before smiling gratefully at them. "Thanks guys, just give me a few and I'll be with you." His breathing was evening out as he said this.
"Got it." Bakugou acknowledged with a crack of his knuckles while Todoroki and Kirishima nodded in affirmative.
Shigaraki narrowed his eyes at them with a twitch of his fingers. "Fine…" He prepared to leap. "More EXP for me." He chuckled maliciously while the teens braced themselves.
It looked like another battle was going to take place, one that their classmates looked like they were going to join since Nomu had been defeated.
Until…
*BOOM*
The standoff was interrupted when the main entrance was smashed apart. Snapping to the source, everyone could see Iida, who looked tired from running, standing at the destroyed entrance. ''I, Tenya Iida, class 1A representative, have now returned!'' He shouted from the top of his lungs.
And from the smoke came All Might in his bulky form, without his signature smile, and wore a furious frown. Behind him, the rest of the teachers emerged, a little roughed up from battling the decoys that the villains placed to stall them.
The pros' frustrations increased when they noted how the plaza looked like a battlefield. But what caught their eyes was the hole in the ceiling. Of which they planned to figure out later, right now there were more pressing matters to attend to.
In an instant, a yellow blur passed by the teens and came All Might standing in front of them. ''Worry not, because I AM HERE!'' He announced as he stood ready.
While enraged at the sight of the man, Shigaraki wasn't foolish enough to blindly attack without his trump card, causing him to look down with a sigh. ''It's game over then eh?'' He muttered in disappointment before looking at All Might with every bit of hate he could manage.
''Urghh…''
Turning to the voice, Tomura saw Kurogiri beginning to wake up. ''Had a nice nap?'' He asked sarcastically.
The warp villain groaned as he sat up and rubbed his head. ''What happened?'' He had forgone formalities for a moment to shake off his daze.
But Tomura couldn't care any less at the moment. ''Nomu was beaten! Get us out of here!'' His anger caused Kurogiri's eyes to widen at the news and look around the battlefield before quickly making a portal behind them both.
Bakugou fired an explosion while Todoroki sent an ice wave, but to their chagrin, their attacks were simply warped away before they could reach the villains.
Kurogiri was the first to leave but Tomura decided to leave a remark as he glared at them with one foot in the portal. ''Mark my words, you will dieAllMight!'' He declared with venom before turning to Izuku, the latter meeting his gaze with a neutral look. ''And you too, comedian.'' He snarled which rage before walking in.
All Might rushed forward to try and grab Shigaraki but was too late. The portal had closed, and the villains were gone. ''Damn!'' He cursed before he turned around and made his way to Izuku, followed by Bakugou and the others.
He felt like a failure as he looked at his injured successor, how could he let this happen? If he were here sooner, none of this would have happened. ''My boy, are you all right?''All Might gently asked, while the other students watched on in a tense silence.
But to their surprise, Izuku just let out a small chuckle. ''Yeah, I'm fine'' He offered a crooked grin despite his condition. ''Just bone-tired.'' He winked.
Bakugou groaned. "Figures you'd make a joke now." Kirishima laughed while Todoroki stared at Izuku with an unreadable look, all three were internally impressed by his spirit.
Meanwhile, All Might was taken aback by this but couldn't help but smile. Despite being the one with worse injuries, his student remained strong and tried to lighten the mood.
And from the looks of it, there wasn't any sign of resentment towards him either. ''You're truly one of a kind my boy…'' He laughed at the joke before gently picking up Izuku in his arms. ''Don't worry young Midoriya, Recovery Girl will take good care of you.'' He assured as he prepared to move, with the other three following his lead.
Izuku looked relieved before something dawned on him. "W-Wait!" His sudden shout startled them.
All Might stopped and looked down at the boy in worry. ''What is it, my boy?'' He asked in concern, thinking that his injuries were worse than initially thought while the other three were thinking that another attack was going to happen and prepared themselves.
But their fears were put to rest when Izuku looked up to All Might in worry. ''Is everyone else okay?''
''Ah, so that's it.'' The four thought as they breathed a sigh of relief. They shouldn't be surprised, the guy proved to prioritize the well-being of others first before his own.
''You have my word, they're all fine.'' All Might assured before looking at the entrance. ''Thanks to you.'' He commended with a proud smile.
Izuku grinned as he relaxed in the symbol's arms. ''That's a relief.'' He sighed before glancing at Bakugou and the others. ''But everyone else deserves credit too, they all fought like true heroes today.'' He said earnestly, making the students' eyes widen.
Todoroki and Kirishima looked appreciative of the comment while Bakugou just grunted. ''Yeah, yeah.'' He rolled his eyes before looking away with a smirk. ''Now get out of here and get better.''
Izuku and All Might laughed in amusement before speeding away while the three students gathered with the rest of their classmates at the top of the stairs.
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS
A yellow blur passed by, surprising the students but not the pros. ''What was that?'' Asked Momo while looking around for the source while the others were worried.
Nezu decided to calm the students' fears and chime in. ''Not to worry, that was All Might.'' He said calmly, making everyone relax.
Once the teachers arrived, they began splitting into groups and rescuing the students. And after making sure all the villains were defeated in different zones, they gathered the students to check for any injuries. Thankfully the students appeared to be mostly unscathed.
The same could not be said for Aizawa and Space Hero 13, though nothing critical, they sustained heavy damage. 13 had injuries to her back but she'll pull through while Aizawa's arms were severely fractured, plus one had cracked from Shigaraki's quirk. He also had a small concussion from his head being smashed in. But all in all, the pros were said to pull through, which eased everyone's worries.
''Yo!'' Kirishima yelled as he made his way to the group, followed by Bakugou and Todoroki.
''Kiri!'' Mina shouted with relief as she went up and hugged her childhood friend. She then separated from the hug and looked over to the other two. ''Good to see you boys in one piece.''
Todoroki nodded while Bakugou scoffed. ''Was there any doubt?!'' He shouted, making everyone laugh a bit.
Ochako noticed Izuku wasn't with them and turned to Todoroki. ''Where's Deku?'' She asked in worry.
''All Might is carrying him to UA to be treated by Recovery Girl.'' Todoroki calmly said though he was internally worried for Izuku's well-being.
That made everyone concerned, wondering what the current condition of their classmate was. Sensing their worries, Kirishima jumped in. ''Don't worry guys, the little dude's tougher than he looks.'' He confidently assured with a toothy grin on his face. They relaxed slightly after hearing that, but that didn't stop them from worrying.
''Speaking of Midoriya.'' Todoroki cut in, gaining everyone's attention. ''What happened while we were separated?'' He stepped forward and looked to everyone for answers.
''I've been wondering that myself.'' Momo added as she got closer to the group.
Ochako sighed tiredly, gaining their attention ''You better sit down for this one.'' She gestured to an open space where they could talk. The students then eagerly gathered around to find out what happened here while they faced villains.
The pros also joined them while they waited for the authorities to arrive, figuring that it'll be a good chance to get some info while they wait.
USJ GROUNDS-STAIRS-15 MINUTES AFTER THE EXPLANATION
''Holy shit.'' Kirishima exclaimed as he and everyone else stared at Ochako with wide eyes.
''It's all true.'' Tsuyu confirmed as the other students who witnessed the entire thing nodded.
Students and pros were speechless. The villains had created a weapon specifically made to kill All Might. Hearing that made everyone's blood freeze. More so the pros, considering they knew of his condition.
And if he were to fight the creature the way he was now, then the results wouldn't be good. But that wasn't the only thing that stunned them.
Izuku Midoriya fought Nomu and won. The pros almost couldn't believe their ears, despite being outmatched. He risked everything to protect everyone and used everything he had in him to win. Even to the point where he was on his last legs. Everyone couldn't help but respect his efforts, with most even thinking about visiting him while he recovered.
Iida looked down and clenched his fists ''I should have been faster.'' He said in frustration, All Might could have helped Izuku deal with the bioengineered weapon.
''You did everything you could.'' Mina gently cut in. ''And I'm sure Midori will say the same thing.'' She added with a smile.
Iida looked up to see all his classmates looking at him with reassuring expressions. He still felt guilty, but he eventually nodded to them with a grateful smile.
Bakugou then looked at the hole in the ceiling with narrowed eyes. ''Did he fucking kill that thing?''
Principal Nezu hummed. "Possibly." He said, making everyone look at him. ''Based on Ms. Ochako's story, Nomu wasn't able to heal due to having his brain damaged, before being sent flying.'' He rubbed his chin with a thoughtful look. "But then again, since his brain wasn't thoroughly destroyed, it's possible that his body still retained its defenses." The students didn't like the sound of that. ''Not to worry, remember, he doesn't do anything unless ordered to. Meaning we don't have to worry about him coming back for revenge.'' His point calmed them.
"That's a relief." Kaminari sighed before smiling nervously. "But still, I didn't think a chill guy like Midoriya could be so intense." He silently prayed to never spar against him.
Jiro nodded, still coming to terms with what she heard about the OFA user. "True." She then smirked a little. "But knowing him, he'll be 'wheeeeyyyyy' better soon.'' She snickered.
With a small flush, Kaminari sulked and looked to the side. ''Not funny.'' He grumbled in embarrassment, much to her amusement while Momo giggled at the reminder of his face when he short-circuited earlier against villains.
Seeing her chance, Mina cleared her throat, gaining everyone's attention ''Now it's your turn, tell us what happened down there.'' Kirishima nodded in response.
USJ STAIRS-5 MINUTES AFTER EXPLANATION
Everyone couldn't help but smile at Izuku's positivity with some even laughing at his joke. Despite being the only student with more injuries, he still found a way to think positively about the whole thing.
''Pfft! Bone-tired? Seriously?'' Ochako giggled.
Iida shook his head with a chuckle. "He never ceases to amaze me."
''His spirit is unbreakable,'' Tokoyami said with a small smile with others nodding in agreement before becoming surprised when Dark Shadow emerged from his back. "A powerful comedian!" He praised, making his user sigh while others laughed at the remark.
''Would it kill him to care for others more?'' Jiro sighed, though she was smiling.
Momo tittered before turning to the three with a smile. "Good job saving him."
While Todoroki just nodded to her, Kirishima gave her a toothy smile. "Anytime for a bro!" He then rubbed his head, a little embarrassed. "Though it was Bakugou and Todoroki who did all the work."
Next to him, Bakugou gave him a look before scoffing. "Don't give us that shit." His comment got a curious look from the hardening teen. "You became a shield against a villain like the nerd said." He looked away with a scowl. "That isn't nothing." He gruffly added.
"..."
"..."
"..."
When the silence continued, Bakugou looked back and saw everyone gaping at him, apart from Nezu who looked amused. "What?" He asked in annoyance.
"Bro…" Kirishima slowly came to his senses, making Bakugou narrow his eyes at him. "That's got to be the nicest thing I've ever heard you say." He said in amazement while everyone else remained mystified.
Like a switch, Bakugou scowled deeply. "Got a problem with that?" His palms let out small explosions, making Kirishima raise his hands and shake his head with a smile that was both amused and nervous.
"And he's back." Everyone thought while hiding their amusement, lest they suffer the blond's wrath.
Ochako giggled a little before noticing that Mina looked much better after hearing that Izuku was fine and couldn't help but smile at her.
While this was happening, the pros decided to discuss what they learned. They all took Shigaraki's threat to heart and made a point to collaborate with the authorities when they arrive.
Everyone's discussions were then interrupted when they saw the police arrive, led by Detective Naomasa.
''Ow...''
Turning around, they saw Mineta waking up and looked at the group in confusion. ''Hey guys, what did I miss?'' He rubbed a sore spot on his head as he stood.
Everyone, except Nezu and the authorities, face vaulted at the amount of information the grape hero missed.
After recovering they went over to the detective, the latter conducting interviews with everyone. While Kaminari informed Mineta of what he missed.
Which resulted in him fainting again.
MEANWHILE-U.A. GROUNDS-RECOVERY GIRL'S OFFICE
''I'm proud of you, my boy.'' Toshinori commended with a smile as he and Recovery Girl stood beside Izuku's hospital bed.
While being treated and scolded by Recovery Girl. Izuku explained everything that happened during the whole USJ incident, including how the villains created a weapon from the ground up just to destroy All Might.
Of course, both heroes became alarmed after hearing this, but their shock turned into amazement when they heard how he'd defeated the bioengineered weapon.
Toshinori never felt prouder after hearing that his successor was fueled by pure determination to protect those he cared for. The teen had truly surpassed everything that he had hoped he would be. Because what else defines a hero other than 'Self Sacrifice.'
And his successor had that in spades.
''That should do it, dearie.'' Recovery Girl smiled after placing a bandage before applying her quirk and kissing his cheek, covering him in a glow for a bit before it subsided.
Izuku's right arm was wrapped in bandages while there was some wrapping around his head covering where the cut was. His right eye was also covered up since it had a bit of swelling and medical gauze on his face.
With a tired smile, the young hero looked at them. ''Anything for…my…friends…'' He whispered with sincerity before falling asleep from the heroine's quirk
Recovery Girl smiled warmly at the sight before deciding to leave to give the teen a peaceful rest. But just before she left the room, she looked at Toshinori, who was looking at his successor with a proud look. ''You picked a good one Yagi.'' She commended with a smile before continuing her way out.
''I know.'' The man agreed, his smile growing before leaving Izuku who sported a content smile as he slept.
