As the day was just beginning to dawn, Shi Feiyu led the group out of the cave. After a night's rest and taking some healing elixirs obtained from their recent encounters, they looked refreshed and invigorated in the morning sunlight.
Their figures weaved through the rugged mountainous terrain. However, it seemed that Zhou Lian was struggling to keep up with their pace. Gasping for breath, he leaned against a large tree and asked, "Junior brother, where are you taking us so early in the morning?"
Shi Feiyu had finished his cultivation earlier and woke everyone up, urging them to set out. Zhou Lian was growing increasingly puzzled; why were they rushing as if they were fleeing for their lives?
He was not alone; even Chang Fu, who had a plump physique, found it challenging to keep up. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he suggested, "Can't we take a break? We've walked for dozens of miles, and my legs are about to give out."
