ch.3

It was completely dark now as I was frightened from what was out there. Even though I am able to see in the dark, I was still lost. I kept walking until there was a clearing. Past the trees were vast lands and a large body of water from the lake. I was so mesmerized by the scenery that I didn't watch my steps, leading me into tripping on something.

"Wah!"

Before I face planted the ground, a large warm object caught my fall. I looked up and saw a huge human sized wolf. 'It's that wolf from my dream!' I exclaimed as his pale azure eyes look at me. I felt the urge to touch his face so I slowly reached out and gasped at how silky-soft his fur was. I giggled and hugged him around his neck.

The wolf stood still as he was dazed from Elsie's twinkling voice. He was afraid that she would fear and run from him if he did any movements. His inner wolf howled with joy from her touch and laughter. After having her share of fun she stood beside him and gazed at the mystic scenery.

"Do you know where I am? I got lost from my friend's house."

I asked as I looked up at the wolf while leaning against his neck. His eyes told me he understood so he stood up and walked with me towards the right path. We stopped a few feet from the house.

"Thank you so much!"

I said while giving him one big hug before waving goodbye and walking into the house. Avery came out the door and saw me as I was about to knock.

"Hey, there you are. It's quite late, why don't you sleep over at my place tonight?"

"No thank you. I really need to get home for tomorrow."

"Alright. I know you're stubborn."

"Thanks."

I laughed while we hugged and she watched me get into the car. I drove home and locked the car doors. My now sensitive body felt a presence and I turn to look around. There was nothing there which confused me.

"Hey, Elsie."

"Wah!"

I was shocked as Sylas patted my shoulder and popped up out of nowhere.

"Wow, sorry. Didn't mean to scare you Elsie."

"N-no, I'm fine."

Sylas seemed to notice something on me and frowned. He got closer and hugged me.

"S-sylas?"

My heart skipped a beat from his sudden closeness. That kissing memory popped up again and I realized that it wasn't my imagination. That night I really kissed him in my room.

"You smell like you usual fruity scent but there's another smell on you."

"R-really?"

I asked as he hovered his lips above the skin of my neck, causing my heartbeat to race.

"Where did you go today? I knocked on you door but you seemed to be out."

"Oh, I was at my friends. You know that girl that Conner was dating but cheated on."

"I see. But it isn't safe to be out at this time of night. Why don't we talk inside?"

"Sure, my room or yours?"

"Let's go to yours, it's closer right?"

"Yeah. Come in."

"Thank you."

As we talked, Sylas moved back to give me space but there was a bit of anger in his eyes? I let Sylas in and sit down on the sofa as I went to my room and change into pajamas. I don't know why but I felt so comfortable around Sylas. When I went to the kitchen to get us something to drink. Sylas suddenly embraced me from behind.

"S-sylas? What's wrong?"

His arms gripped tighter around me and I felt him move my hair.

"Mine. You're my mate."

He whispered as he bit down on my neck. I whimpered in pain but that soon turned into pleasure as I let out a small moan. I felt like a bit of me had finally connected, but there was one more piece missing.

"Sylas?"

I called out to him as he seemed to woken from his trance.

"Oh no, what have I done."

Sylas panicked as he realized he had harmed me.

"I-it's fine. I'm okay."

"No this isn't right, I have never attacked anyone before. I even harmed you, my eternal mate."

"Mate? Is that what I felt with you?"

"You felt the connection even though you're human?!"

Sylas was shocked at my relivation.

"Y-yea. Um, it started when I kissed you that night."

I embarrassingly confessed.

"So you remember me telling you that I'm a vampire?"

"That too."

I blushed more deeply as we talked about that night. We did it that night as he said sweet words to me while confessing afterwards that he wasn't human. I even told him that I didn't care as I liked him too. Now that I remember everything, I was a bit shy while he gave me a big smile. He embraced me, picked me up and spinned us.

"Sylas! Stop, you're making me dizzy, you silly vampire!"

"Sorry, I'm just happy you were able to recall our special moment."

He laugh as he carried me to my bed. He spooned me as we talked a bit before we went to sleep together.
