I want to kiss you
I guess I found something new in my life. I parted ways with Will and went to swimming pool. It was silent and I got charged and went under the water. I stayed down there, it helps me get rid of my worries.
" Hey" I heard a voice and I came out
" What are you doing here?" I asked
" I searched everywhere for you," Jason said helping me out of the water
" What do you want?" I asked sitting on the bench
" I'm worried about you" he said passing me a towel"
" Why?" I asked
" You've been acting strange lately, you don't relate with people" he said
" I don't feel like" I said
" Even Beth has noticed it" he said and I glared at him
" What?, I'm speaking the truth" he said
" I'm hungry, I want to get something to eat" I said getting up
" I got you some ice cream, strawberry infact" he said and I looked at him
" I don't want," I said
" Why, they're your favorite" he said
" Not any more, vanilla is now my favorite" I said packing my stuffs inside my bag
" Since when?" He asked
" Probably some weeks back" I said
"How come I'm not aware" he said and I suspended what I was doing
" How will you know, you've seem too busy these days"I said
" Is this about Sandra again" he said
" Yes, it's about Sandra. The only thing on your mind is only Sandra so stop pretending as if you care. The worse part is you didn't even notice until Beth told you." I said
" Look, you're only saying this because you don't have a problem with Sandra" he said
" Yes I have a problem with her and she has a problem with me. So it's best if both of you just stay away from me" I said carrying my bag and walking out
" Fuck! What is wrong with her" he said
After our last class I told Beth about it
" Jason isn't getting it" I said
" You aren't either" she said
" Are you going to support him on this?" I asked
" Hell no, I totally hate Sandra's guts" she said
" Then what are you saying?" I asked
" The more you and Jason fight, the more Sandra will take advantage" she said
" And if that happens, it will just prove that I and Jason friend ship is weak and was meant to end" I said
" You're being stubborn" she said
Then I saw Will from afar, trying to change the basketball net.
" Give me a sec" I said leaving
" But where are you going?" She asked
" I'm coming" I said and I ran down to meet him
" Need help with that" I asked
" Belle?, Isn't thia coincidence that you're always here when I need help" he said
" What should I help you with" I asked
" You can help me pass the net" he said
" Alright" I said helping him
" Where you asked to do this as well, or you volunteered" I asked
" Actually it's business" he said
" Business?" I asked
"Yes, it's a long story" he said
" I'm less busy, I can hear it" I said as he got down from the ladder chair
" I'm heading to the library" he said
"We'll go together then" I said and we left unknown to me that Jason and the rest were watching us from afar
" See, I told you not worry too much about her. She is totally fine, she's even playing around with that guy" Sandra said
" Who is that guy?" Jason asked
" He's a new kid" Micheal said
" Why are you bothering, she's fine. Come on, let's go to the game house" Sandra said dragging Jason as usual
I sat with Will in the library at my usual spot very close to the Air con and window.
" So what do you want to know?" He asked
" Everything" I said
" Okay, I'm actually a scholarship student. And I was told to be helpful to teachers to improve my time here and also I'm not into sports but I'm trying so hard to please the coach because he's not giving me an easy life" he said
" That's strange, all the Will I know are good in basketball" I said
" This Will is exceptional" he said
" When is your game?" I asked
" I'm just going for tryout" he said
" When?" I asked
" Next week" he said
" I'll help you train for it" I said
" Thanks, but I don't know anything in basketball" he said
" I can work with you, you could change the basketball net not for a starter" I said
" Thanks" he said
" No probs" I said
" Hey, can I have a word with you?" August said approaching.
" Um..."I said looking at Will
" It's okay, I was planning on going to the staff room" he said leaving
" We'll talk later" I said as he left and August sat
" What's the matter I thought you said you didn't want to talk to me" I said.
August was my ex and he's an handsome,hot and cute guy that no girl can resist. We'll, we didn't get along at first as we always argued on each other point of view then Beth came up with this club that will help people discover their skills and I was made the female president and he was made the male president and we started to get along. Even though I had a crush on him from start I didn't let him notice and during then he asked me out to the dance and we started dating and during the summer holiday, he thought I was cheating on him with his cousin and he broke up with me and he cut all ties with me. Though the whole school doesn't know yet only my friends know about it because they were there.
" I'm still angry with you but I need your help" he said
" No wonder" I said
" You owe me one" he said
" First I didn't cheat on you, he kissed me out of a blue I wasn't expecting it and that's when you showed up" I said
" Okay, I'm not hear to argue" he said
" Then what do you need my help with?" I asked
" I want to kiss you" he said
