" I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way " she said noticing my mood

" No, it's fine " I said

" I called you here to talk about Andrew" she said

" I know" I said

" He's a dummy, he thinks you are upset either him because of last night. I mean he's not meant to kiss you out of the blue against your will again because you didn't respond to the kiss which somehow means you didn't like the way he behaved and with the way you left so quickly" she said

" It's not like that, it just I wasn't expecting it and it was just too soon. I mean I just had a recent heartbreak and jumping into another one will be a risk " I said

" I know what you're talking about, I've also had an heartbreak from Andrew infact. I know you must have heard about it, but taking the risk is worth it. If I hadn't taking the risk I wouldn't know what it felt to have someone who cares so much about me" she said

" And believe me when I saw Andrew is a type of guy that wouldn't let you regret the decision of risking it " she added and her phone rang.

" I have to take this" she said leaving and I took my time to think about what she said and also what Beth said.

" What's it" Trisha said on the call

" I need you" Dex said

" What's the matter?" She asked

" I'll tell you only when you're here " he said

" I'm busy " she said

" Don't you care about me one bit " he said

" Fine, I'll be there " she said and hang up then she dialled Andrew's number

" Hey, what's up?" He asked

" Are you nearby?" She asked

" Yes, what's the matter?" He asked

" I think you should take it from here, Dex is calling me and I don't want him to do something stupid if I don't go. You know how Dex is, last time he proposed in the hallway with fifteen flowers because I didn't greet him good morning " she said

" I know, it's fine. I'll be there " he said

" Be quick " she said before hanging up.

" So where were we?" She asked as she came back. Just then Andrew walked in.

" Great, Andrew is here. He'll take it from here, I have something I need to attend to urgently. Gotta run, bye" she packing her things and she rushed out and I stared at Andrew

" May I walk you home?" He asked

" So about last night" he said as he walked me home

" I didn't mean to run away like that, it was just unexpected and I didn't say I didn't like it..." I was saying before he interrupted

" So you liked it?" He asked

" I.... I mean, I was in a rush and I.. I was not expecting it" I said and he smiled

" She still doesn't want to admit it " he thought

" I know you think, it's fast and all but I just want to show you that I can be the guy you desire and will admire. I don't care if it takes you a month, two months or a whole year infact to think about it, I'll wait. I don't want to let go of a valuable treasure or I'll regret it later" he said

" Sure" I said and they was silence till we got to the doorstep of my house

" Can we make things work?" He asked

" It's not bad trying, I mean it's worth a try" I said and I could see the way his face lit up with a smile

" So, can I kiss you?" He asked

" Huh?"

" It's not like I've been wanting or craving to kiss you, I mean I do want to kiss you but I'm not saying or doing all theses for the kiss I mean..." He was saying before I interrupted

" Calm down" I said as I placed on hand on his face and our eyes were locked together, and then I felt his lips on mine.
