Later that evening, Jason went to Debbie's place after telling Vinny that he won't be to make it. On getting there, he met Vinny at Debby's place and Jacob as well. To his surprise it was like they were having a party there.

" Welcome" Debby said gesturing him to sit

" What's the special occasion?" He asked

" It's Jacob's birthday" Debby said

" Oh, happy birthday" Jason said to Jacob

" Says the guy that gave me a scar on my face" he said and every where became silent. Then Jacob laughter made it more awkward for Jason but the rest were also laughing so he just had to tag along.

" Chill bro, I was just pulling your legs" Jacob said patting him on his back

" Jacob is like that" Debby said smiling

And luckily for Jason, I came in with Andrew

" When is the party getting started" Andrew asked

" This just a small party for the close friends, people must be waiting for us at the main venue" Jacob said shaking Andrew

" How can they be so cool even when is with the other ex" I thought and I noticed Jason giving me a stupid eye sign and I went to meet him

" What is it?" I whispered

" You knew about it" he said

" I just knew some minutes ago and I've been trying to call you, you didn't pick" I said and he checked his phone and saw four missed calls.

" See" I said

" What are you two whispering about?" Debby asked dragging everyone's attention to us

" Nothing, it's just I forgot my phone so I wanted to call someone but he doesn't have the person's number so" I said

" But your phone is in your hand" Andrew said

" Oh, I've found it then " I said pretending to make a call and went outside.

" Come on, let's go " Jacob said leading the way

" Debby " Jason said making Debby wait behind

" What is it?" She asked

" You never told me it was Jacob birthday you called me for " he said

" If I had told you would you still have come " she said

" No, but at least you could have told me to dressed according to the occasion" he said

" Your dress is perfect, it suits you well" she said placing her hand on his chest.

" Come on, let's go " she said dragging him along.

They got to the party and many people were already there, I found August with Michael and Beth. I walked up to them and notice them arguing about something.

" What's wrong?" I asked

" Nothing" Michael said acting suspicious

" Are you guys trying to hide something from me?" I asked

" No" August said already sweating

" Belle, let's go" Andrew said taking my hand and I left with him.

My mind was not at ease, with the look on their faces and their reactions they are definitely hiding something from me.

" Hey, what are you thinking of?" Andrew asked

" Nothing" I said and he pecked me on my forehead.

The party was still going on when Jacob announced the arrival of his cousin. The door opened and a young gentle guy came in. To my surprise or not, it was Will. So Jacob was the cousin he was always talking about then. No wonder Jacob's attitude seemed familiar.

Then I faced August and the rest and they were trying to avoid me.

" is that what you were trying to hide from me" I asked

" I told them you knew already" Beth said

" so you're actually cool with it" Michael asked
