Intentions and Family

Dash left the dojo very late, making sure to drop Devon off at her house before returning to his own. Just after stopping by the supermarket where Victor had informed him about the new Cobra Kai Dojo.

"Cobra Kai Karate, so they are the same from a long time ago..." Dash smiled slightly and left after seeing what he wanted.

"Aren't you going to clean those windows?" Johnny Lawrence's voice came from inside the Cobra Kai Dojo as he noticed the movements of his first student, Miguel Diaz, who had inspired him to reopen this dojo.

Miguel was looking out the window as a car stopped outside the dojo, but that car seemed familiar; he had seen it somewhere but couldn't remember where. After the car left without parking, he continued cleaning the windows.

"Is there something interesting outside?" Johnny approached the window and looked outside only to see the empty parking lot.

Miguel smiled and shook his head. "I thought I saw a familiar car, but I doubt it. What else do you want me to do after cleaning the windows, Sensei?"

"Just go home..."

"Yes, Sensei!" Miguel looked at his Sensei's back and smiled happily at the opportunity to learn from him.

...

When Dash returned, it was already very late. His parents, who lately spent more time at home since the family had grown, were together. Many teenagers might have been bothered by this, questioning why their parents are now coming home when they didn't do so when they were younger. However, Dash had no issue with it, so he completely ignored it.

"Again at the dojo until late?" Elena asked, watching her children play.

"Awards aren't won by training for just a few hours, mother. You should know that better than anyone..." Dash responded straightforwardly, just as his personality was.

"Think about spending some time with your siblings. They enjoy playing with you, so just consider it." Elena didn't look at him when she said this, as Dash had entered the kitchen to grab something to eat.

Dash came out with a big piece of cake and said, "Come on, mother, you know they don't need that when they have Jack and Aiden around all the time. I don't believe at all that you've become more affectionate with more children. I didn't need your presence to grow, and I suppose they don't need it either. Dependency is bad."

Frederick looked at his wife and said, "He's right; don't press him about the siblings' issue again. You'll only push him further away, as we haven't taken care of him as well as we are doing now with Aiden and Jack."

Elena sighed, unable to say anything more to her son, and he disappeared from the room. She wanted to say more, but it was true that she had neglected her son a lot, and perhaps that had pushed him away from parental dependency.

For a long time, she heard her friends talk about how their children can be a headache in simple situations of companionship. She never felt this with Dash; he never came to her or his father to cry, and the only thing that bothered them was something he couldn't handle.

Elena knew that was the education she had given her son, but for some reason, as Dash grew up, she felt him becoming more distant. She wanted to try a new method with her children that she had learned, and things improved just as expected. It wasn't bad, just that not having done it with Dash from an early age, it was normal for him to act that way.

...

After taking a shower, Dash lay on his bed, took out his cell phone, and started reading the comments on his YouTube channel, where he taught Kung Fu moves with a rooster mask.

Currently, he had over a million followers. Many followed him just because he once appeared in a video fighting with a chicken mask, and his fame skyrocketed from there. Then he started responding to people's messages.

"I don't have an ugly face, and I don't wear the mask for that reason. Besides, remember that appearance doesn't matter much."

A few seconds later, he received a response: "[If your face is attractive, why the hell do you wear a mask?]"

Dash sighed and turned off his phone. "Social media is scary..."

Tomorrow, he would visit the Cobra Kai Dojo, and he was a bit excited. Moreover, it would be interesting to offer something if it was the person he was imagining.

"It will be a lot of fun..."
