At the Beach

"Alright, guys, as your dear friend Victor posted a lot of nonsense in the group chat, we've decided to spend this weekend here at the beach. You all have your own rooms, so enjoy yourselves!" Dash said, opening his hands as if he were a tour guide.

Chozen, who was in swimwear, looked at his students and said, "Remember, guys, enter the pool until you can't move a bone!"

"Yes, Sensei!"

Mr. Kim, standing under an umbrella, looked at the kids and said, "This isn't the beach; it would have been more economical to take them directly to the beach than coming to this place."

Dash looked at Mr. Kim and said, "Well, that way, everyone could drink until they die; at least in this place, they could even eat good food without dying from stomach pain."

Devon, who was in a swimsuit, thought about that incident where more than half of Sakura Bushido's students almost ended up in the hospital after buying turkeys in bad condition and cooking them as if they were good chefs.

Those days were the only ones when Sakura Bushido was more desolate; it was truly a very tragic day.

"Is it a good idea to leave Mr. Chozen alone?" Devon didn't trust what would happen if, for some reason, he met Daniel LaRusso.

Dash paid no attention to this and said, "Let's go to the heights; we'll see all the fun better from above."

Although he had wanted to present them in a better situation, it would be fun to see them meet in this place after Daniel felt like he was in a war against the evil of Cobra Kai.

"Hey, this place isn't the beach..." On the second floor of the hostel near the beach, Aisha had appeared with her new friend Tory, who had invited her after becoming friends naturally.

Tory looked at the place and said, "Where are the skater slackers or the guys who give you Hip Hop demonstrations?"

"Don't worry, they'll come when they distribute the appetizers!" Aisha replied with a smile. But at that moment, she noticed a girl walking with two huge ice creams and murmured, "I didn't expect to find her here..."

Tory, who was looking at people in the pool, saw a guy with long hair waving at them with a smile and asked, "Who's that?"

"His name is Dash; his girlfriend defeated me in the tournament final a few months ago..." Aisha replied with a stiff smile and decided to approach out of courtesy.

Devon was trying her strawberry ice cream by then, so when she saw Aisha approaching with another girl, she greeted them, "You should try this ice cream; its flavor is amazing, and I heard it's homemade."

"I prefer not to get too cold, or I'll end up with a cold..." Aisha walked to the table where Dash was and introduced, "She's Tory, she recently joined Cobra Kai."

Dash looked and extended his hand to greet. "Although I'm not happy to see how Cobra Kai steals more and more students from us, I'm happy that every Dojo is growing."

"That's very weird welcome from the competition..." Tory said, smiling at Dash's charisma, which was not common in a guy.

Devon, on the side, was not indifferent either and said, "I hope Cobra Kai has better students this year; the upcoming tournament should be the most important in a long time, so they must show good endurance."

Dash, who was looking in the distance at two people, turned his head towards Devon and became interested in this sudden competitive spirit that his girlfriend was showing.

"I haven't been trained for long, but I have experience. How long have you been in Karate?" Tory sat down after Dash vacated the seats.

"Five years, but we don't train in Karate, but in Kung Fu."

Dash ate his ice cream calmly while watching this change of words with the Cobra Kai girls; it would be more interesting to see boys too, but it seems there was no one else besides Aisha and Tory.

Aisha was surprised and asked, "So how is it that you participate in Karate tournaments?"

"We are a mixed martial arts school, which means Karate is also taught. Also, having a very good Sensei from Japan now, the training will be more comprehensive." Dash boasted about the union with Mr. Chozen, who right now seemed to be enjoying the drinks.

Tory was surprised; she had searched a lot for a good Dojo, and in the end, she decided on Cobra Kai not only for its low prices in classes but also because it was close to her work. She didn't have the best opportunities in life, but she thought it would be a good idea to know something more in self-defense.

Dash, without raising his gaze, asked, "So, I heard that your relationship with Miyagi-Do is not the best of all, how are you handling that?"

"Our Sensei has some issues, but I wouldn't say we're on bad terms with them." Aisha never thought of having bad terms with Miyagi-Do; she knew very little about it, so that was her importance in this matter.

Tory smiled and said, "I don't care about those things; I just joined Cobra Kai, so I don't know which Dojos are rivals. However, now I know that we compete against you to be the best in the Valley."

Devon smiled slightly, then looked at Aisha and said, "Then you'll have to work hard; last time, even though it was a good fight, no one in the women's division managed to land a hit on me."

"Cough! Cough!" Dash forced a cough to divert the course of this conversation.

Devon extended her hand and patted Dash's back; she scolded him for eating the ice cream he had neglected for a few minutes and then sent him to buy another.
