The Changes

A few long minutes later...

"Winner, Mitch is the winner!"

Paul, who really wanted to leave because he was tired, bowed after losing and returned to his Sakura Bushido teammates, who nodded at him as he greeted them.

"You need to focus more on defense when we get back. You could have won if you weren't desperate to win. That guy has a more robust body, it was wise to think he would get tired faster," Devon said as Paul returned, leaving everyone in silence.

Paul nodded silently, wiped off the sweat, and sighed for having lost before the changes were announced. A real shame, he just hoped not to have disappointed his teammates.

"You did well, just concentrate better next time and apply what Devon said," Dash praised Paul, who had really been putting in effort from the beginning.

"Yes!"

Chozen took a step forward and said, "Alright, the first fights were impressive, but we'll change things up a bit. Each Sakura Bushido fighter will go once, and you too. You can fight someone who has already fought, or you can choose the next fighter."

Johnny nodded and said, "Remember, you can only choose fighters who haven't defeated someone else, so you can choose from the next or one who has already won."

"Yes, Sensei!"

With everything clear, Chozen took a step forward and said, "Oliver against Mitch!"

"You know how this goes, three points for the winner. Ready? Attention, bow, look at each other, bow!"

"Fight!"

Oliver was the last of Sakura Bushido's young promises. Liam, who had reached the final, was now a very strong warrior, so he was not at the levels Oliver and Paul were, but they were still the best of the young ones who would go far.

"I hope to see the best of you!" Oliver looked at Mitch approaching and waved his hand.

"Now!"

As Mitch's voice faded away, Oliver's eyes narrowed. In just one step, he fiercely charged towards Mitch, who maintained a proud expression on his face for defeating Paul.

Many people had classified Oliver as an ordinary guy, so his appearance was quite normal. He had brown hair, a bit tousled, and a pair of small eyes.

Oliver was a short guy; everyone would think he could be easily defeated, but at that moment, they understood. As Mitch's attack approached, Oliver did not retreat. Better yet, to the crowd's astonishment, he took a step forward as his right hand quickly extended to deflect Mitch's fist. While Mitch's fist hit the air, he attacked Mitch's chest.

"Point!"

"Damn..." Mitch muttered, feeling a sharp pain in his chest. Now he looked at Oliver with a somewhat furious expression and quickly raised his fists, waiting for the combat to restart.

Chozen, who didn't want to delay the fight, said, "Ready? Fight!"

"Ahhhh!!!!" Letting out a thunderous roar, Mitch wanted to intimidate Oliver and threw a punch directly at his chest.

But in that instant, Oliver diverted that punch with an upward blow.

Just as Mitch's punch was diverted, Oliver's body posture changed abruptly in his advance. He clenched his right hand and formed a fist, as soon as he approached, he attacked to land a punch on Mitch's chest again. In an instant, a powerful punch landed on Mitch's side, who couldn't react at that speed. Oliver wasn't powerful; he was just very fast, leaving Mitch out of the possibilities of defeating him.

"Point!"

"You're very fast, but now I'll wait for you to come closer," Mitch said, looking directly into Oliver's eyes.

"Ready? Fight!" Chozen shouted after seeing that both had had a few seconds to rest and prepare again.

Mitch now wanted to maintain his posture, take control of the fight, and see how good Oliver was in the second round.

But at that moment, unexpectedly, Oliver ran towards him, and in an instant, he initiated a series of powerful and fast attacks that overwhelmed his defense.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Mitch's problem was that he was slow; having a robust body, his speed wasn't much, and against Oliver, who was extremely fast, he had no chance.

Looking at his opponent, Oliver feigned a move, and in a spin, his elbow landed forcefully on Mitch's stomach, who exclaimed in pain and anger at feeling the blow.

"Point!"

"Winner, Oliver!"
