Shadow in the Darkness

Pum! Pum! Pum!

Minutes passed, and the six men took turns kicking Dash, who endured the kicks as best as he could. Some of the gang members were terrible at kicking; it seemed as if they were afraid of causing serious harm. This gave Dash a chance to gradually regain his senses.

"You damn idiot, do you know Karate? That crap doesn't work on the streets. Look at you now; you're a mess!" shouted Paco, breathing heavily from the continuous kicks.

"You..."

Paco, lost in his drug-induced haze, was surprised to hear Dash still talking. He asked, "What did you say? Are you talking to me?"

"You shouldn't have..."

"Damn it, speak louder!"

"You shouldn't have stopped!"

"Keep him down!" Paco shouted as uncontrollable bleeding streamed from his mouth, the result of the earlier blow.

Dash's chest rose and fell violently as he clenched his teeth. When he saw the first gang member approaching with a knife, he quickly unleashed a combination of punches with his brass knuckles on both hands.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Without mercy in his blows, Dash, consumed by anger, smashed the head of the first gang member, who appeared to be the largest. Blood sprayed onto his knuckles, but he didn't stop.

But there were still more than three people around him. One of them ran towards him and managed to cut him slightly with a knife. However, at that moment, Dash stopped feeling pain and, in response, attacked more than five times on the nose and eyes of that gang member.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Broken nose, shattered teeth, jaws, ribs—everything one could imagine was like paper when Dash's ruthless blows struck them.

All the hatred he had left behind exploded with such force that Dash knew only one thing: kill or be killed.

Holding the head of one gang member who had long since stopped moving, Dash brought his head closer and bit off the ear of the man with one fierce bite.

Needless to mention the amount of blood pouring around, but it was so shocking that the remaining two gang members holding a knife each hesitated to attack.

"Ahhhhh!"

Dash dodged the first attack aimed at him with intentions to stab, but being attacked by two people, one of them managed to cut him. However, he felt nothing and, in response, delivered a powerful kick that broke the leg of one gang member who lacked muscles in his bones.

With only one man left who could pose a threat, Dash took a step forward and, in just a few seconds, was already in front of that gang member. Before he could realize how he would be attacked, a violent kick landed on the gang member's neck.

Crack!

While Dash's leg fell violently on the neck of that gang member, in a matter of seconds, a series of blows flashed from his hands, landing on the head of the man.

In less than ten minutes, a loud and clear sound of bones breaking echoed in the illuminated building.

"Please don't hit me anymore; you're going to kill me."

Those tearful murmurs were something that wouldn't stop Dash now that he had started to satisfy his anger. When he saw that no one else was moving except for Paco, who was running to grab the bat he had left on the ground before, he turned around and looked at Dash angrily.

"Do you think that thing will stop me from breaking your bones?" Dash, swaying towards Paco, looked at him with burning hatred surging from within and walked step by step towards him.

Paco felt fear. He didn't know what kind of monster this boy was, but he wasn't going to run.

Lifting his guard, Dash, who had stopped listening, looked at Paco and saw him approaching to strike.

Crack!

Receiving the blow on his left arm, Dash, still feeling no pain, extended his hand towards Paco's ribs and, with an explosive attack, felt that he had broken something.

"Ahhhj!"

The blow made Paco writhe in pain, and just when he wanted to turn around to run, a choking sensation filled his body. Dash, who saw this, fell to his knees and repeatedly struck the head of the man who had tried to kill him.

"Anyone who dreams of touching a hair on my girlfriend with ill intentions will die!" Dash shouted, feeling increasingly dizzy, and only after seeing Paco's head covered in wounds did he stop.

At that moment, when Dash breathed with relief, he felt a heavy sense of fatigue, and suddenly he couldn't move his body. And at that moment, a series of footsteps echoed in the distance.
