A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

"Captain, we are losing power to weapons", reported lieutenant Alex Bara at the weapons control console. 


Acting captain quickly walked over to the weapons control console. Looking at the instrument panel the shocking hit her in the face like an invisible blow. The rate of firing was rapidly decreasing as weapons systems lost power. 


Acting captain Lucinda knew she had to act fast. This was not the right time to be without weapons. When the Sandawana was engaged in a fierce fire fight with Drachalian ships attacking. The situation called for urgent correction. 


Acting captain Lucinda wiping out her communicator, ordered lieutenant Tanaka at the communications console, "Perch me through to engine room". 


"Engine room we need more power to weapons or we are going to be out of this fight very fast. It goes without saying that will be the end of us".
