"What is the matter with him?", asked a concerned looking acting starship captain Lucinda, looking down at captain Maguire's unconscious form laying on a bed in the medical chamber. She was standing beside the bed along with Dr Nyarai Mukoti, head of medical services, who was was moving a hand held scanner over him.

"From my initial examination, he seems absolutely fine", said Dr Nyarai Mukoti, ending her examination and putting away the scanner in a pocket of her white lab coat "It is as though he is sleeping. Otherwise medically he seems completely fit".

"How can that be?", exclaimed acting starship captain Lucinda turning her attention to the doctor.

"The rapid twitching of his eye lids is consistent with Random Access Memory activity of his subconscious mind".

"Wait a minute doctor, tell me in simple terminology that I can understand. Are you suggesting that he is in some kind of dream state?"

"Yes, he seems to have fallen into a deep sleep?", replied Dr Nyarai Mukoti.
