On an alien world in the Florian system, an uneasy silence fell upon the Tigalash division they advanced upon the narrow mountain pass. In the quiet of the moment as the warriors edged ever closer, to the pass between the range of mountains, the tension was growing, each warrior was only too aware of the potential danger that awaited them. The fact they had not encountered any opposition since they had left base camp that morning was not a good sign.
They would have at least felt some semblance of reassurance if they could have been attacked, at least once and could have settled the matter in pitched battle. It was unrealistic to imagine that they had not been discovered. That the invaders were was so hard of hearing that they could have failed to detect such a powerful explosion as when the rock warriors emerged from their underground base below the volcano.
