A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

Instead of the flow of light from the energy displayed on the big screen moving in the opposite direction, they seemed to be moving in the same direction as the radiant flow of energy. 


"Captain, we are being dragged into the black hole", reported lieutenant Anesu. 


"How is that possible!?", exclaimed captain Maguire. "Engineering increase..."captain Maguire began shouting urgently into the communicator which he had suddenly wiped out from his utility belt. 


"Captain, engine capacity has not changed. It's the gravitational pull of the black hole that has become stronger. Even at our current power output we can not resist being caught up in its slipstream", lieutenant Anesu calmly explained. 


"Captain', came the voice of lieutenant Simbarashe in Engineering over the device in captain Maguire's hand. 


"It's ok lieutenant", replied captain Maguire returning the communicator back onto the utility belt on his waist. 


"Com, have you picked up anything?", asked captain Maguire.
