A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

"Shuttle lander is clear", said lieutenant Tanaka from his post at the communications consoles. He was reporting to acting captain lieutenant Tashinga who was occupying the commander's seat. 


The bridge's elevator doors swung open and aprentice pilot quickly walked in. 


"About time you got here", said acting captain Tashinga facing the new arrival as he quickly walked towards the main flight console. 


"I am apprentice pilot Tatenda reporting for duty", the new comer introduced himself standing before captain Maguire. 


"Proceed to your post", said acting captain Tashinga. I must inform you though that flight console received an upgrade during our last surface leave on Earth". 


"I wasn't aware", Tatenda replied. The configuration of the console may not be that much, such that I might be able to quickly adjust to the new set up. May I take a look at it asked Tatenda.
