A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

"I feel there is something we are missing, something we can do to stop those starships coming through", said acting captain Tashinga watching the second wave of starships on the bridge's big screen, emerge out of the massive ball of fire as it were. 


"The missiles!", suddenly shouted Alex Bara at weapons control excitedly, turning to face acting captain Tashinga. "The Sandawana has an in built fail safe system in the event of an electrical failure". 


"The gun crews can reach the missile bays by crawling through the ventilation shafts. From there they can then open the missile tube barn doors and manually launch the missiles", said lieutenant Alex Bara. 


"Make it so", ordered acting captain Tashinga 


Tapping the transmit icon on the console before, lieutenant Alex Bara began 


"Attention all gun crews, proceed to the missile bays via the ventilation shafts and await further instructions".
